Surely they can't force us to play Sat-Tues-Thurs? That's ridiculous! They can postpone the match against to Southampton till may..

It's actually Sun-Tues-Thurs in that case. If we progress in the EL, don't think they'll have that replay on Tuesday especially if our 1st leg then on Thursday is away from home.

Bare in mind we still have to rearrange Fulham away and there are only 2 ? midweek slots in May, one of which is the europa league final

This has been terribly organized by the fa but looking at the lower leagues they are in as bad if not a worse condition with regard to fixtures than us

I think the Fulham game will be played in April though. We'll have two open midweeks in April even if we qualify in the EL.

Replay set for Monday April 1st, 12:30.

Away to Southampton on Saturday March 30th, 15:00.

Two games in less than 48 hours

The first leg of the next round of the Europa League would then be on the Thursday after that, and then on the Saturday after that we're facing Sunderland at home.

4 games in 7 days?????? Fuck.

We have to lose tomorrow night, it's that simple. Hearing Benitez talk about putting out a strong side tomorrow and wondering whether Steuea can live with our 'intensity' is mind-boggling and I hope it's just lip-service.

I'm never going to say I want the team to lose because people pay their money and deserve a good night out more than anything, but the Southampton and Sunderland games will be tricky whilst the Man United game is obviously huge.

It would be mightily helpful if we didn't have a game on the Thursday.....

Even then it's going to be a massive ask for the squad.
