Very happy with the win. We should have scored much earlier, but as we all know it's difficult to score against teams who park the bus

The double pivot looked good, defence looked solid, but we were a bit narrow - still created a couple chances though.

Anyway 2 goals conceded in 5 games is pretty good, top of the table = even better.

Only 4 shots on target all game, no wonder we barely even scored. But we dominated and were the better side, so these big three points were fully deserved.

3 points is of course the most important, but still a lot of worrying signs all over the pitch, especially Torres who still looks like he plays for another team on another planet.

Really liked the shape - would love to see Marin + Moses come on as subs and change the game

We did try and play through the middle too much again, but were ultimately rewarded for our persistence.

Genuine TEAM effort - and Stoke have taken points of City + Arsenal, so a WIN was awesome! :D

Think Everton might be a surprise package this season, another good win - maybe the new Newcastle

To be fair a lot of those shots were from long distance as we couldn't get near there goal.

The 3 points are great, but that's clearly not everything that matters.

We can't keep playing like this. I know Stoke parked the bus, but we will play against this kind of teams most of the season. We need a decent striker, Moses in the starting team and more ideas when we attack.

Unsurprising problems based on the starting XI. We were way to narrow, Mata, Oscar, Hazard, and Torres basically all played in the same spot which made us very easy to defend against. This made us rely on Cole and Ivanovic to give us width. After Moses came on, our spacing was much better.

I'm happier with this result, than the QPR one.

1) Stoke have taken points of Arsenal + City

They are a hard team to break down, we managed it and City (with better strikers didn't!) - so yes we lack firepower, but even with City's firepower they couldn't produce a WIN!

It's all about the TEAM - we looked good today, let's use Wolves to sharpen our shooting boots and roll on Le'Arse...

Torres was the only bad player on the pitch. I don't even think he played that badly, he had some good passes to Mikel and Mata but he lost the ball too much and should have taken his chance in the first half.

These are the type of games you can look at later in the year if we win the league and say thank god we won against Stoke !
