Whatever starting 11 we go with there are some things (according to me) that just HAVE to happen:

1) Win comfortable (2-0, 3-1)

2) Moses and Romeu SHOULD be given a decent ammount of playtime. At least one of them is a must.

3) Sturridge has to play 10-15mins as CF.

couldn't have said it any better

We should win, but I'm not sure it will be comfortable. This is a big game for them and we struggled there last year.

Marin will be available but I would not expect him from the start. Fitness has never been one of his strength, so after ust having recovered from an injury he usually is not fresh enough to play more than one half. That is one reason why his rise to the top has been hampered all the time. His problem has always been that he uses not to put on the necessary muscle mass. On the one hand that is one reason why he is probably one of the most agile and bustling players in the world on the other hand the risk of muscle injuries is considerably higher when u are as lean as him. Nonetheless I would love to see him feature asap. In Germany his move was ridiculed as an confusion with Reus. No one could retrace why we signed an Werder Bremen outcast, in the media's eyes he had no right to be here. As a result, Marko will be sharper than anyone and raring to go. He surely has the ability to take the league by storm.

Loftus Road seems to be a less difficult ground this season to win , so i'm seeing our Blue Boys winning , a 3-0 could be expected , we always had good response from our defeats and with Eden Hazard , Torres at his best and maybe Azpilicueta , we'll win.I just hope Lampard-Mikel will play again , they need minutes on the pitch to be at their best against great teams.

can't wait for this game. Can't remember the last time I was excited about a season. Normally im satisfied watching the International games during these breaks, but I just can't wait to see the Blues out there again!

This shouldn't be a diffcult game. QPR have a half decent squad on paper, but with so many new players and a really bad manager they will be nowhere near their full potential. having said that, the majority of them have just had a good 2 weeks to train with each other, but I think we should be seeing this as a easy win and anything less than a win by 2 goals should be seen as a failure (unless its a really good performance with a bit of hard luck).

Mata is going to be nice and fresh. anyone know if he will play? I know he's had a 2 week rest, I dont know if rest meant he got to go home for 2 weeks (in which case id imagine he would be likely to miss the game and get some trianing under his belt before a game) or it was a rest as in missing a few training sessions which means he will probably feature. but i would like to see Oscar start this game. and Cesar.

Another player i'd like to see start who will most likely NOT start... Sturridge. he ripped QPR a new one last season! I've read a few people saying Marin will be fit. I am very keen to see how he does in the league so would love to see him as a sub in the game if he is fit.

roll on Saturday!!!!

I wonder how RDM will rotate Cole and Ryan now there is more games.

A good start will be Cole at Loftus Road, both against Juve and Ryan against Stoke.

I'm sure RDM will make the right choice, rotate well and give them both a fair amount of games throughout the season.

Again this shit...

On shaky ground: League refuses to scrap handshakes ahead of latest Terry-Ferdinand meeting

Chelsea play QPR on Saturday and the Rangers defender could decide to snub both John Terry and Ashly Cole in the pre-match ritual
