Cosmin 2,484
He's improved so much this season, I absolutely love him. Hard working, disciplined lad. And very underrated, in my opinion. If he gets better offensively, maybe people will rate him as he deserves.
BleedsBlue 1,549
Signing someone like Shaw will not only improve our left side but also our right as Cesar will get to play his natural position. The future looks good for Chelsea FC.
Jase 43,479
Indeed Jose. Thought Azpi was a monster today defensively especially in the second half. The number of 1 v 1 battles he won and interceptions made was crucial in keeping up our late pressure on Everton. Blue Armour
Sidzeret 2,257
Mr. Interceptor. Great reading of the game and awesome defensive work. Does a fair job gets forward as well. Obviously gonna be even better on the right flank. Can't wait for Ivanovic to rack up 5 yellows babu and Mufassir08

Strike 7,489
Everton had a good counter attack chance from the left and this guy pressed the them back all the way (although everton did come straight back)Henrique - I hope Azpi's proven he's not Bosingwa 2.0 this season
Polo7 3,496
Cant wait for him to play on the right side. Proven to be a great buy. Myself

The first half today was a clear illustration of the problem offensively with having a RB at LB, if we need it anymore. Hazard got the ball and attacked down the Everton right side on numerous occasions but had no support from the LB. Because of that, Hazard always had 2-3 players marking him and had to cut inside to get away from them. The Chels and Mufassir08

Mufassir08 2,400
I am willing to bet that Azpi would do a decent job in midfield in an emergency situation ala Lahm. The Skipper

Stingray 9,441
Cesar really ruled today. The amount of times won that ball back on a counter. Amazing! Him and JT were bossing it! The only place to be and dee25
The Skipper 20,609
After Matic and JT this guy was outstanding. Can't wait to see him in his regular position regularly - even if we sign Shaw I'm delighted that we'll have great cover at LB.
BlueLyon 9,359
Put him back to RB and he will start giving assists here and there. Then he will be perfect full back imo.But already doing great work defensively. Mufassir08
Jase 43,479
For all the brilliance and great performances the likes of Hazard, Oscar etc have put in this season, it wouldn't be the craziest of idea to suggest that perhaps Azpi deserves to win the club's POTY season award. If there is anything that defines consistency, it's probably Azpi. He always at least put in a 7/10 performance in every game. sLOVEnian Blue, kellzfresh, Stats and 1 other

The Skipper 20,609
He might win player's player of the year. He's had a great season though even though he's playing most of it out of position. If we do get Shaw next summer our starting fullbacks are sorted for a long time. Azpi will be the more defensively sound one with decent attacking instincts whilst it'll be the other way around for Shaw who'll link up with Hazard. So our left side (Hazard, Shaw) will be the more attacking side (naturally as our most talented player is there) and the right side will balance it with hard working players who are still decent offensively (Willian, Azpi).
