Like mentioned above, he has a genuine emotional link with the club and fans, how many others in our squad have the same sort of link? Not many, if any at all. The ball would have fallen to him instead but was wasted by Girouds chance. Daves reaction was as if he had been told a close relative had died. Pure passion. He actually plays for the badge.
