lucio 5,418
About the wheater, he always seems to be playing with gloves on. English weather can be really rough, certainly for a slim Brazilian. Hazard/Schürrle are european and Willian shouldn't mind cold since he spend alot of his career in Ukrain.its been the warmest winter for ages. barely even got frost

Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted April 8, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 8, 2014 I thought he was brilliant tonight, looked like a true number 10 and really dictated the game for us until he went off. Great performance, his pass to Willian which set up the Schurrle chance was fantastic. yuvala, Barbara, The only place to be and 3 others

MrExcalibur100 7,124
Now we have a player that is actually really good with the free-kick taking lark.
Sidzeret 2,257
Now we have a player that is actually really good with the free-kick taking lark. Nah, he always goes for the far corner. Doesn't always work. The perfect FK takers always gets it over the wall and dips it into the net. Great technique in taking the shot. Has the potential to be our most reliable set-piece taker if he works on it.
CHOULO19 24,332
I thought he was the catalyst in the first half. After Hazard went off you could feel a couple of players getting their heads down but Oscar getting on the ball, beating players and winning a few FKs in dangerous areas really lifted the lads and the crowd which created that spell of pressure from which the first goal came.He really loves playing in the CL. Special Juan 28,141
Grabbed hold of the game when Hazard went off, got at players and dictated play. I just hope this is him back to form, because we need him. Bosnian Blue and Barbara

Popular Post! Special Juan 28,141 Posted April 9, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 9, 2014 Great in UCL, below-par in EPLBut nights like last night can be a foundation for him to build on. Form is temporary, he's had a slight dip but what a bonus if he can get back to his early season form for the run-in. Barbara 15,149
Great in UCL, below-par in EPLhe played some great EPL matches for us early this season (not much last season though). It'll take longer for him to adapt to playing English football. Hopefully he will adapt fully but I think he played well in the summer and fall. Reddish-Blue

Jambo 231
As said Oscar really stepped up the other night. I was criticizing his form for a while but he(and everyone else too) showed what they are capable of. To be honest, when Hazard went off it changed the way we played. Everyone else then stepped up. No longer was it a case of pass to Eden and hope he gets it in the box. Which wasn't going to work anyway because as soon as he got a sniff of the ball there were two players on him right away. Willian and Oscar played really well together, switching roles when appropriate. Assisted by Schurlle and his steady eddy, solid German engineering of the ball, which allowed the two boys from Brazil to do their thing.
