KDB put on a masterclass today.

The guy we sold him for is so shit he can't even start in the worst Chelsea team in over a decade.

Mourinho

oscar as poor as he has been this season would have improved the team today; esp if in the CM position.

hiddink has been saying that he's giving minutes to the aspiring players. It's funny how we use 'can't get a game' vs 'won't be given a start' depending on the point we want to make.

if I hated Oscar like many here do, I'd actually be quite nervous that he is not playing.

Give or take the odd upswing in form by Willian, or downturn in productivity from Oscar, I still think the observation I've been making about Oscar over the last 3 years is accurate. With apologies to those who've read it before, the observation comes in two parts: -

  1. Oscar is clearly not good enough to start for the team Chelsea wish to be.
  2. Oscar is nevertheless the best number 10 Chelsea have.

Hiddink has phased him out since realising how shit he is. I'm not worried at all. He is one of many wasters that are heading for the exit.

Hiddink is the waster... he's wasting one of the most precious things in football (and life): time.

You missed my point though.

We are playing for nothing now. So, the club - please ignore tampon manager for now - may want to put the players they want to sell on display. Let others see them week in week and out and perhaps someone may be enticed.

For example, it may have become easier now to sell Mikel... well barring the last game (city) when he was below his usual.

Expect to sell this guy to Juve and tear the league apart.. like every player we sell ffs

It's inevitable that he'll improve significantly for a new club in a new league. Any other league will be easier for him than the PL. Unlike Kevin De Bruyne, Oscar doesn't have near that ability. He can't singlehandedly run games and carry teams with magical skill like Kev. He's just not on that level.

Just can't see him coming back to haunt us in a couple of years like Lukaku and Kev have. Well quickly move past Oscar if we get someone who actually puts up numbers and doesn't go missing for weeks at a time. We need production and consistency.

Considering how they're performing, there should be an immediate change in strategy. The whole world sees how poor they really are and instead will take a look at our talents.
Time's precious, so please test the youth, we can use them next season and with nothing left to play for see who is able to put in a shift and who we better sell.
Is it that difficult? What's happened so far?! Can't get my head around it yet, unbelievable...

that's not how scouts work... they can certainly separate team from player performance and adjust accordingly. They look at specific attributes, under pressure and not, to create a profile. if the player doesn't play, he is essentially not in the market and it takes more work from his agent.

If form was so important, we could let go every single player we got and get the replacement from Leicester. The odds of those players having another magical season are very low though.

Teams always think they can recover a player who's had a bad season elsewhere, because if they do, it's a cheaper option.

* btw I and going by what I hear that we need cash in to fund the much needed transfers.

You've got a point there.

Nevertheless i hope we don't take the cheaper option in the summer that means going out in full swing and buying the players who finished the season on a high note.
Completely fed up with the so-called stop gaps...

The story of Leicester is a fairytale, but i think some of them could have another magical season, at least elsewhere.
Vardy is class, so is Kanté, recently gave Morgan's story a read and because of his background, he knows how to put in the hard work, imo.
Difficult to get, but i would take most of their team, team spirit matters, at Chelsea there's something seriously broken.

Hopefully the Chinese offer still stands or someone is interested. Chelsea need to spend big this summer.

This summer window is the one I dreaded: too many needs for one window. The fallout of bad transfer decisions for about 5-6 previous windows.

He's another one who will still be here come August. Just hope he won't be relied on too much.

The powers that be will throw Oscar in the same category as Hazard (in regards to this season) and expect Oscar to come back stronger next season. Even though it's been pretty clear that that "next-step" is not in him like many believed.

That's the only offer that does not matter... he won't move to china at this stage in his career. I hope Juventus is still in for him though.

The club cannot force a player to take an offer. Especially one with so many caveats attached to it.
