Jase 43,479
Based on the fact that we have become a much stronger and competitive side, thus more attractive to players. Also he himself said that he would 'listen' to any offer the likes of us put forward. The strong and possibly growing Brazillian contingent could be a big factor for him. The fact we are looking to now play attacking, sexy football and will possibly be looking for a new forward in January or summer. How about those? Will get back to you on that. Milan 17,957
I am really surprised by his tackles. He is doing an incredible job for our defence because he tackles so well. Styles
Kieran. 6,317
Yep, he might the most important player out of the 3 because of his defensive abilities. Mata and Hazard are better in this moment of time, but with the 3 of them together, it's important to have a player with competent defensive abilities, which Oscar has. termninja 5,290
I'm surprised how strong he is for his build and age. HE won a few duels against Sandro and Huddlestone today like they were 18y olds Stats and Styles
kellzfresh 7,229
yea oscar pressed deep but he wasnt too influential. But we cant forget that it was his introduction that sparked out better all round team play. His defensive pressure balances out mata and hazard attacking

JDY 1,290
Have been really impressed at how good he is tactically, his work rate is also exceptional and he isn't afraid to get stuck in. Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
The thing I really like about Oscar is that no matter what he didnt put his head down and disappear. He was always there to be counted, and that is a lot more than you can say about many players. Many times tonight I had to remind myself Mata was even out there...never did that with Oscar.Better luck this weekend lad. meetdoscar 335
He shows once more that he is a great player, even when he did not play so well he was determined to get the goal even in the dying minutes of the game, something torres lacks and considering he doesn't have prior experience of european football like the other lads and is only 21 he is still in a learning process. CHOULO19 24,332
Not a good game in terms of passing and control, but so was the case with most of our players yesterday.
Land 331
Bad 1st half but I thought he was really good on the second, created chances, specially for hazard and scored. He looks super tired
termninja 5,290
I'm surprised with how well he got used to England and our squad. It speaks of his quality and versatility. What brings a massive smile to my face is that he is yet to show us what can he do. He is very young and once he gets used to life in England, learns the language and truly gets used to Premier League, we will have a massive gem in our hands. And a small detail. I really like his occasional slightly raised eyebrow. It gives him such an intelligent and cool look BlueLion.
Milan 17,957
Oscar and his influencehttp://www.eplindex.com/20502/oscar-influence-chelsea-opta-stats-analysis.html
Land 331
OSCAR: TAKING AIM'I have been a midfielder who is a regular goalscorer and scoring 20 in a season was normal for me,' Oscar tells the official Chelsea website.'I know it could be a bit more difficult in England because you are not playing all the time and you play in different positions, but nevertheless I do expect that I am going to score many goals for Chelsea and I hope to keep the average of between 10 to 20 goals a season - that would be good.'Another question is what is a typical Oscar goal? We have seen contrasting strikes from him so far at Chelsea.'The long-distance ones are the most common goals I have scored, rather than the close-range ones,' he says.'I often try to position myself in the place I was for this last goal against Shakhtar, so that when someone passes the ball I am close enough - and I do score quite a few like this, but because my more usual position is just outside the box, that is where I score most of my goals from.' Peppen 934
http://tinyurl.com/8qfg8euAfter this great article on our huge Brazilian talent, Oscar had some kind words for our coach; He seems like such a nice fella. TrippingStep 336
I hope Chelsea understand that Oscar will never be a strong, stocky player. He will always be a slim, fast, agile player. I watched him in the game against Tottenham and I could see from that alone, he'll be fine in England."I like this quote from weber in the article.
