OhForAGreavsie 6,075
One of his best performances (most complete) I've ever seen for us. He had everything: pressing, tackling, linking play, tricks, and even some beautiful passes. I'd have this Oscar over the ''bad playing Oscar but scores a goal to safe his game''.Keep it up!For me it was a typical Oscar performance. One which underscored the two great truths about Oscar and Chelsea. Namely that he is not good enough to be Chelsea's number ten but that he is, nevertheless, the best number ten we have in the squad currently. It's just opinion of course but, for me, we always look more dangerous when Oscar plays so his all too obvious shortcomings only serve to reinforce how badly we need upgrades in this area. A player with the right attributes in that position improves this team enormously. Styles and DYC.

He put in a shift but I really didn't think he was good. Defensively yes but on the ball... look at the succes rate, speed and the quality of his actions. Not impressive at all. Some good moments but that's to be expected. Never one of his best performances imo. It's funny because you're usually the one slagging him off every chance you get. I doubt it's going to get much better.Mourinho's prediction was terribly off. Stats

Weird that i guess its all about expectations. when i first saw the line up, i was elated that cesc was not there but oscar's name bothered me. i seriously expected him to be subbed at HT. so i guess, thats the reason i think i feel he had a good game. Blue Colored Sky 1,807
Typical "good" Oscar. He glues the lines but I think it only work efficiently and against anyone if we had Hazard, Reus and Aguero/Suarez in our side. 3 exceptional players to create something on their own. Therefore player like Oscar would be very handy. At the moment and for foreseeable future we need our no. 10 to be as creative and visionary as possible plus able to hold the ball under pressure. I'd have this Oscar over the ''bad playing Oscar but scores a goal to safe his game''.Keep it up!Wanted to highlight something at the 1:52/1:53 mark, which is not really about Oscar, but about our attacking mids in general including Hazard...That run from Costa, and the fact that Oscar didn't quickly slide the pass through to his feet...seems our mids miss these sort of quick runs from our strikers. (happened a lot when Torres was here)...of course in this particular example Costa dragged the defender away to create more room for Willian and Oscar,...but probably would be best to make these passes and create more clear-cut opportunities. LemmeBorrowThat 124
He is who he is. If he wasn't so slight of build I think he'd be a dependable and consistent player deeper in the midfield. We definitely need someone that's offensively aggressive as a CAM.As a matter a fact....forget his build. I think we should just throw him in the midfield period based on his style of play. He isn't a soft guy so I think he could hold his own.

El P. 1,354
His problem is not "consistency". Playing good game once in a blue moon is not called problem with "consistency". When you play 5 games, 3 good and 2 bad, you can say that it is. He plays 1 good out of 5 games for two years now. That's called an average player. Who plays good based on circumstances, who depends on luck, who depends on every little detail. Just an average player.I don't even want to start on his attitude and being like a boy.Needs to be offloaded, with many else. stroey and didierforever

Stats 7,142
KDB must have been laughing to himself senseless when Mourinho placed faith in Oscar as his no.10 and forced KDB out the team. Just beyond ludicrousy. This manager has ruined our club and all our players are regressing under him. It is actually sad. didierforever
