Waterfall 893
That rumor never made any sense because a world class player like Villa would not want to waste his career at Arsenal
Manuf 1,448
Yes, it's stress, because you know he only earns £60,000 per week he needs more... negotiating that contract must be really stressful, feel for the guy.you must be really shallow if you think money is the only problem. bababoom 4,478
you must be really shallow if you think money is the only problem.Your right, his hair is gray because he's stressed... no facts but because people are saying i'll believe it. Fucking hell, your the one being shallow here.
Duppy Conqueror 1,534
Manuf`s point he was trying to make is that just because RVP is on 60,000 or any large amount you want to say, doesn`t mean that he is immune to stress.alot of people make the presumption that money solves everything and that just isn`t the case atall.including stress. e.g famous people are constantly being watched and their life is everyones business in the media`s eyes.some people say Eric Clapton don`t have anything to have the blues about because he`s white.famous and rich well his toddler son did fall to his death infront of his eyes. money don`t take away his pain. you see it everyday, people just want to become famous thinking it`s a dream life..sometimes it may be but i`m sure it`s a nitemare sometimes too. ask JT. Ollie 4,400
I don't care who he joins, i just want him to leave that bastard team and hopefully the country too. This can't come soon enough for me.
Pizy 18,907
Being reported around the net that he can be had for between £20-25m. If reports that we're in for Cavani are true, why not at least test their resolve and save £10-15m?Only real downside is his age.

Paulie Walnuts is my favorite character tho.
Hutcho 8,443
My only motivation to want to buy him is to piss off arsenal, but i would rather him just leave arsenal, and don't particularly mind where he goes.

teh_Stig 12
I think we can all agree that we'd rather he'd go to Juve. I really don't want to see him and Rooney or him and Aguero 2-3 times a season. That would not be fun.
Jype 6,398
Ferguson officially confirming a bid must mean they're in advanced talks over the transfer, right?Surely the old red nose has finally lost the plot? Why would they need Van Rapist when they already have Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck and are most likely going to play a 4-2-3-1 formation similar to ours, with Rooney playing up front most of the time and Kagawa playing behind him?In my opinion the only club who should be looking to buy RvP is Juventus, who are in desperate need of a top class stiker and they can't afford to be too picky about his injury record and age because there really aren't that many options around for them. Clubs like Manchester United should avoid signing of this kind like the plague.

RVP i agree COULD be upgrade over other strikers but like Leif said last year was 'the' season before that he was injury after injury after injury. BUT WHO CARES ITS MAN U!! they can buy whoever aslong as dont interfere with our targets hahahaha

One striker up front, one player behind him, two wingers who play mostly on the opposition half in an attacking role and then two midfielders. If they bought Van Persie to play as their front man and Rooney behind him, then their latest arrival Kagawa will be very unhappy. And if Shinji were to be a starting player they can only have one striker starting and that is undoubtedly going to be Rooney.
mediator 2,026
We should bid on him in case of Torres failure, or for our reserve

Jype 6,398
well in 4411 their central midfielder will be kagawa, i dont see how he would be unhappy?Kagawa has never before played CM and I don't think he ever will. That would be like us playing Mata or Hazard at CM and would you honestly want that?

(during avb) first it was lw, then cm, then cam in 4231 during robbie. sooo yeah i could imagine cuz it has happened before.
