francozola 2,040
The point is he tried to claim credit. For what? He nearly left us on the verge of exit after the 3-1 defeat to Napoli, all thanks to his silly kamikaze attacking approach.Oh ffs. It doesn't sound nearly as bad if you take the entire quote into context. I'm not saying that the man isn't a tad (lol) egotistic but JFC some of the things I read is just ridiculous and uncalled for.For what it's worth, we did beat Valencia under him and if we had lost that we would not have been in a position to reach Munich. Im not saying that result was down to him and I know he made mistakes throughout his time here but I really cannot stand this level of hatred lol

Whatever happened, happened. As I said he did make a lot of mistakes but in one of the matches where it mattered, we won and progressed. Ollie 4,400
It's bad because he said he put the team together. In fact, he tried to dismantle is and change the way we play.

Peace. 4,352
"‘There is more of a sense of belonging at this club,’ said Villas-Boas. ‘It has a lot of tradition, which I admire. Chelsea have tradition, too, but it changed dramatically since 2003 when it was bought. That’s why the sense of belonging is bigger here."The sense of belonging to what ? To eternal mediocrity ? Slam Dunk 1,442
Let's hope he doesn't continue with the snippy comments. You're better than that, Andre.
Justin_3d 1,140
Wow this guy is something.....I can't wait to see what other excuses AVB will bring up when we beat them this season!Ah men I am definitely going to enjoy this season!
OneMoSalah 8,886
We have to be honest, what AVB said about Roman today is kind of true. Maybe the fact he is talking about Roman and the club a lot is a bit too far but he wasn't treated well here and he is just giving his side of the story. We can't just sit and say that Roman didn't do anything wrong because in the past he has sacked managers for stupid reasons - e.g. Mourinho and Ancelotti - or not backed them sufficiently enough like was the case with Villas-Boas and perhaps Big Phil. termninja 5,290
When we first brought him here, I actually enjoyed listening to what he said...I even listened to our press conferences week and week out up to a certain point...now, he is just a boring annoyance that irritates me like Kieran said...Really hoping to see him fail at Tottenham.
