Mourinho is convinced Hazard has now elevated himself into the top three players in the world, alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

And the former Real Madrid manager has even claimed that Hazard can be judged ahead of Ronaldo, based on trophies rather than personal success.

Ronaldo scored a staggering 60 goals last season but Real finished the campaign without a single piece of silverware.

When asked whether he considered Hazard to be above Ronaldo, he said: “Last season, yes. I don’t like players or managers to win individual trophies without the team.

“I am not saying he [Ronaldo] was not fantastic, he scored an incredible amount of goals. I am just saying that, in my personal view, every football player in the world should understand that a team has to be the front.

That goal he scored in our game against Barcelona reminds me of his run against Arsenal in our 2-0 victory last season where he took the ball past 3-4 players and ended up getting fouled by Koscielny in which he scored the resulting penalty. Fantastic player. Such a joy to watch.

OK I admit he is a bit better than Reus, but he needs to score more to be on Neymar and Robben's level. Atm he is in the 2nd bracket with Reus, Bale, Sanchez and a couple of others great wingers.

I think he managed him well. Eden needs to regain fitness and sharpness. Tbh he didn't do much running in the PSG game or the Barca game. The PSG game I don't even think he even dribbled once. And the Barca game a few dashes on the break. This is good for him.

He tends to start the season a little slow. I think he had 3 or 4 goals by November. And more or less the same the two seasons before that. Hopefully he starts better this season. I think this has been his most impressive pre season so far. He's looks good defensively and he's been clinical. Hopefully that's a feature of his season in 15/16

Once again, i think his goal shows he's a more devestating player through the centre. He can use more of his qualities out wide, but i'm certain he'd score and assist more playing behind the striker, and our entire team would function beautifully with 2 conventional wingers flanking him.

Hazard isn't going to score 40 goals a season because he isn't that type of player, he isn't going to shoot when someone else is in a better positionlike almost every top player does these days and I personally hope he never changes.

And before you say well goals are goals, well Hazards way gets goals in situations were a shoot wouldn't have, take United in the COC in his first season, Ramires goal to seal the game, Hazard ran with the ball got into a position outside the box were a Bale/Neymar/Sanchez/Ronaldo would have almost certainly shot and more than likely missed, instead Hazard rolled it into Rambo and sealed the game.

It's quite a sad predicament of the modern game that to get the credit he truly deserves Hazard will have too strip himself of a lot of his attributes that made him get this far and turn into a shoot on site merchant, in fact it's criminal.
