I loved watching Eden against Swansea because he actually looked very determined to "get the numbers," showing a great deal of ambition. I wonder if it's the effect of the new boys. He's no longer the "go to" guy and no longer the one getting the headlines. Some healthy competition should be very good for him. IMO, it's exactly what he needed to make a step up. Its only a matter of his workrate in training sessions thats gonne make the difference.

But based on his current shape and form and Mourino recent comments im convinced he's heading in the good direction.

Arround this period last season Mourinho wasnt happy with him and tbf he was not playing well for quite some time and i dare to say he even looked fat.

What a difference it is with this season, he looks sharp right away and even if the stats dont back it up he's having a good (great) start of the season.

Its clear that Mou's magic is starting to work on him.

If he keeps this up the sky is the limit and he trully will be one of the greatest of his generation.
