I'm not familiar with Independent. Are they considered reputable as a paper? This is horrible. Comparing an attacking midfielder, a player that creates space and chances with strikers and finishers.

Lampard scored 16 goals and provided 9 assists in 05/06, and won the league (not just winning the league, but winning it a second time in a row). Yet Gerrard won with 10 goals and 5 assists. I'm sure there were no complaints or questioning of his quality then. Robbery!

Drogba scored 29 goals and provided 10 assists in 09/10, and won the league. Yet Rooney won with 26 goals and 3 assists. Same story. Robbery!

Bale played behind the striker in 12/13, scoring 21 goals and providing 4 assists, finishing outside of the top 4. The difference in goals+assists compared to Hazard is 4. Yet Bale was hailed as if he was the new Ronaldo. And don't get me started on Bale and Giggs winning in 08/09 and 10/11.

There are 5 games left. Hazard should be able to manage two goals and two assists, bringing his total to 15 goals and 10 assists in the league. A fine return.

Hazard might not be not the most impressive POTY winner as an individual, but he is the star player of a side that has dominated the league from start to finish. Never disappearing. That says a lot more than goals and assists. And there is still more to come with Hazard.

The weird thing is, despite the fact he is the most talented player of the (eventual) champion of the (arguably) strongest league and has been voted POTY, it's probably his least bombastic season I've seen from him. His hardest working but least impressive season. In every seasons he scored tons of screamers, in this one, not so much. The most impressive would be his last season at Lille.

If Chelsea can get a CAM (or move Hazard to CAM and get a LW) and RW that can play to his style and can take attention sea from Eden his numbers will go way up. I checked his youtube page and it's nothing but a bunch of 2 to 3 minute averagely put together videos. When one is so used to Heilrj and scoutnation's detailed and well edited videos, it's difficult to find other videos impressive.

There's a difference between EDITING and COMP MAKING. Editing is adding all these effects and choosing the right music to match the theme of the video and having a sort of story about the video. Comp making is simply gathering clips and mixing them up. It's a lot easier as there isn't much effort that goes into it. Thomas is an EDITOR, Heilrj is a COMP MAKER.
