Mancini has been keen on a winger, but thankfully he has his hearts set on jovetic(whos awesome btw) but still hazard is a great second option and they have no problem paying the fee. Lets just hope they sign another winger or mancini keeps with his strategy of having 23432424242425532423 strikers.

Verdict: if city convince hazard he will get playing time I can see them pulling it off. Id say 50/50 he joins them.

Chelsea FC--

Our lives would be made alot easier if we were in europe(cl obviously not el) next season but its not the end of the world if we dont make cl. Lets take a pesimistic view and say we dont make cl. over the last decade its happened twice to two top clubs, ac milan and bayren munich, Frank Ribery, Miroslav Klose, Luca Toni, Ze Roberto, Hamit Altintop were signed by bayren that summer and Mathieu Flamini, Ronaldinho, Marco Borrielo, Gianluca Zambrotta, Andriy Schevchenko (loan), David Beckham (loan) by ac milan.Stephen Schmidt does great write up about there here; http://www.weaintgot...ns-league-could .

So however it may be harder to sign players without cl, not all players are pre madonnas and can live 1 year without cl; if we were able to convince them we will invest more and sell them the idea on our project and tell them they will play a key role blah blah blah blah. Hazard is 21, he can only now buy a beer in the U.S.

So reasons why hazard would join our project with or without cl for one season

-he can see a great attacking future with mata and torres(or whomever) upfront

-we do have a good french speaking enviroment at chelsea

-laurent blanc may be our coach, surley he can lure ligue 1 players to chelsea

-the obvious belgium party(chocolates and all) happening at cfc, mark my words we will be linked to axel witsel soon as well(more reason to join)

-we offer good wage

-torres is good looking

-asides from being friends with belgium players, also forming an attacking bond with lukaku for national team.

-our team has a history of winning trophies over recent years unlike badsenal or flopcity.

-our fanbase if better looking than other fanbases

-he can live with 1 year without cl

-if only us or city meet his valuation well @*$)($* he will definetly play when he wants where he wants a chelsea.

-we are beyong desperate for wingers

-his girlfriend/wife(he has a kid) will prefer london to manchester. They always do...

potential stumbling block

kevin de bruyne and him operate best at leftwing postion. why would he join us to be competing for playing time with his friend and country m8.

Verdict: if he rules out city(not interested), we may be the only possible option left! for a player of hazards quality how this could happen is beyond me. 40% chance.
