Eden Hazard

He doesn't want to be hated and demonized like Courtois was. He wants to leave on good terms.

I really, really hope Isco can be signed as partial replacement. Would really soften the blow to get an exciting, technically superb player to join.

Eden Hazard to tell Chelsea he wants Real Madrid move having 'made decision' on his future

Other reports say that he's already told them.

Since this documentary was filmed 2 months ago, it would make sense that he has in fact already told the club as this falls in line with our absolute refusal to sell CHO this past window.

Smh overreaction over nothing here. He gets asked the question about his future wherever he goes, Hazard recent comments is as little as you could say and basically saying nothing.

Why does he keep getting a pass?

He isn't forced to say anything to anyone. Some people just need to keep it zipped.

While it's not beyond the club to keep CHO in case Hazard leaves in the summer, Matt Law did say Hazard hasn't told the club about his decision yet. So, make of that what you will.

I'll be disappointed to see him leave if that is the case, and would far rather he stated and committed to the club, but if he leaves then so be it.

I feel that the club have really stepped up the quality of their transfers in the last 2 windows, hopefully recognising the mistakes made particularly in the 2017 summer window.

In this time we replaced Courtois, seemingly last minute too, as reports this week suggest we were prepared to keep him this season and let him leave on a free at the end of his contract. Having gone on strike to force a move through, for the club to make such a big signing late in the window to replace a keeper viewed as one of the best in the world has proved impressive and successful so far. Hopefully the club can pull off a similarly successful deal to replace Hazard.

The club might even take money from selling Hazard and choose to splash big on other areas of the team - left back, centre back, centre mid, striker possibly and look to build CHO and Pulisic together as first choice in those positions.

If the club make 3 top drawer signings in the summer to significantly improve the starting XI and put some faith in a couple of the youngsters to fill out the squad to replace the likes of Zappacosta, Cahill, etc (rather than having to buy new players to replace these), then I would look forward to next season with optimism, with or without Hazard at the club.

Did he say he will reveal it on Wednesday? If so he is staying 100%. He ain't the sharpest tool in the box but he won't suddenly destroy us mid season saying he will leave at the end of the season and break the atmosphere around the club.
