He looks more selfish, and I like it.

Exactly. So many people were happy and satisfied with his unselfish nature in the past, I'm having none of it. Let opponents know Eden f****n hazard is on the pitch.

What I really like about Hazard so far is that he actually runs towards goal with speed like today. In the past he often waited for players to support him or slowed down the game which was really unnecessary at times.

I don't know if Conte told him to do so or he got more hunger himself, but I just hope he keeps it up, because this is just brilliant.

he seems to have recovered his form. He normally takes a few weeks to get going, a slow starter (his only exception was his first season with us), but if he's already on fire right now, can you imagine in a couple of months?

He seems more carefree, bolder and more selfish (in a good way). It definitely has Conte's influence (many players are better simply by not having Mourinho's negative influence) because it seems like he has license to attack, to kill and less work rate concerns (not that he's been lacking there, he's been decent enough).

Very excited about how he will fare this season and hopefully we will do well and he won't be tempted to leave.

This is the fittest I've ever seen him too. All the work The Dons having him dowith werights and in the gym. The puppy fats gone and its probably given his confidence a kick up the arse. I likis new Eden.. And the relationship hes got with Batman is going to be real helpful for us. When the time comes that Conte can trust whatever defence we have at the time and we get that chance to go with the 2 strikers can you imagine him and Moses with Diego and Bats

The best we have at this point in time.

First year under Mourinho, we won premier league, well I think this team is stronger, Kante and hazard are on fire.

To bad all have to come from hazard, I don't know if he can pul it of this year,United and city are really strong all we have is a brilliant hazard and a decent Kante.

His form is largely also because Conte is allowing him to play much higher on the pitch. He often is able to get 1 on 1 instead of the 2 or 3 on 1 he always used to encounter.

Lol, last 2 months of last season he was also on fire. The only thing that is true is that he got some rest during his injury and recovered from a period of 3 years of playing every game with no break in between.

And we'll get exposed against the better teams. He couldn't get the ball against Watford and we of course struggled until Cesc came on.

Like you've said he's playing higher up the pitch & isn't forced to track back like he was under Mourinho because of the switch to 433 but his movement is restricted in this system, he's no longer allowed to drift all over the pitch to find space. When it works like it did today & against West Ham it's beautiful, Watford is an example of it not working.

He was amazing yesterday, but as some have already pointed out, he was afforded A LOT more freedom yesterday than he has been probably since RDM.

In the few times Burnley did try to attack us, Eden actually let their right fullback to run past him (to be picked up by Matic or Kante) so that when we did win the ball back he was running at the CB. Happened in his goal and happened a few other times as well.

That's great to see, but I don't think we can afford to do this against better teams.
