And for me, winning the Champions League is the main objective."But for now, I do not dwell on it." He is starting to get annoying. Pizy 18,897
Barring a miracle CL victory I think there is now a real possibility that he'll want to leave. Didn't want to believe he's that kind of guy to want out after one poor season but it seems he's obsessed with CL football and may not be willing to go without it even for one year. Just hope our board demand a world record fee and not a penny less. They paid 50m for Luiz so they can pay 80+ for Hazard. Same goes for Real Madrid if they come in. If they can pay it for Bale they can for Hazard. On the other hand, what we have working in our favor is that it would be so difficult to replace him that we may just refuse also offers and make him stay. I know we as a club don't hold players if they want to go but it would take some spectacular signings like a Reus or Griezmann level player to replace his impact. With no CL football it'll be hard to convince them to come so Hazard may be more valuable to us here than a shed load of money that we can't do much with. Little fat cunt should score a goal before thinking a big team will want him. Considering he was talking to the French media and talking about PSG, I would take whatever he said about them with a massive pinch of salt. For all we know, the French media could have intentionally misinterpreted or changed his words to suit their agenda. They have always wanted Hazard to go back to Ligue 1. Hazard himself has said more than once previously that he has no interest in returning to France. He's already won everything there is to win there and he would achieve nothing by going back, especially when the competition doesn't even exist in that league! If he is going to leave, he'll go to a club where he can achieve and win bigger things than at PSG. Anyway, he also said this in the interview... http://www.espnfc.com/barclays-premier-league/story/2807936/chelsea-eden-hazard-will-not-rule-out-move-real-madrid-psg Asked by Le Parisien whether he could leave Stamford Bridge, he said: "Everything is possible, it's true. But I have a contract that runs for four-and-a-half years yet. "Even if things are difficult this year, I feel good at Chelsea. I'm in a good squad that can win trophies every season." Asked whether Hiddink had said he could leave in the summer, he added: "I don't think that will happen. Anyway, every transfer window people say: 'Eden is going to leave.' "And every time that I said that I would stay, I have actually stayed. On the other hand, I said during my last year at Lille that I was going to leave and I really did leave." Addressing rumours of a move to the Bernabeu, he said: "Of course, [Madrid coach] Zinedine Zidane gets you interested. He was my idol when he was a player... and he's been saying good things about me for a long time. "In any case, I want to work with the best managers in the world. Beyond that, I don't know if Zidane is in that category yet. He's only been training Real since the start of January." A good example are Costa and Fabregas. However, as we saw in the last game, Hazard (who is supposed to be our star and make the game happen) was pretty much a passenger while Pedro was doing what Hazard should have been doing. Hazard is still my favorite player, but he has to step up.

Way I see it is if Real Madrid or PSG come in with a massive bid he'll go. If they play dirty like the Spanish giants are known to do (managers and players complimenting him in the media and saying they'd "love him in their team") and try to get Hazard to ask for the move then I'm not sure he'll force it. This situation is 100% dependent on the managerial appointment and ambition we show in the transfer market. We either go big or lose the most talented player we've ever had. On a side note, I'll never have any respect for a top player in their prime choosing to go to PSG. A nothing league with zero competition for them. Their season is over before it starts. Your season is a failure if you don't win the CL. In my opinion the best in the world should play in the best leagues. What a waste they are in Paris. Everyone was bad this season with Mourinho but the thing is there's no much improvement in Hazard so far. Also, it's time to stop defending Hazard like he is a special player. He is just one of the players. Moreover, as a Belgian you should know that Hazard was also bad with Belgium team. Well but it happens every year with national team. Hazard may want to join Real Madrid but I'm sure he's not stupid. He's already said he won't go to PSG because there's nothing left there for him to achieve and I'm sure he would think carefully first before heading to Real - Zidane may his favorite and the boss there but is he guaranteed to start? Would he enjoy all the politics at the club with the players, board, fans and media? Pizy
