laeth 527
Then all you are doing there is insulting our attack, because if Hazard was the best, you're pretty much saying everyone did fuck all the whole game. You're a total utter plonker. It's absolutely blatantly obvious the guy is class when he is on the ball; why are you being such a troll? God you're annoying. zolayes, headhunter23, Nic! and 1 other

Peppi85 110
Hang on right, City where shite that season as they where just gelling together that season, and David Silva was still good in then.I also think he's a much better player than Hazard.errr, he didn't get much playtime the first months & he couldn't handle the physical game yet... Get your facts right!

God you're annoying.Sorry i don't think it is, as i haven't seen anything spectacular about him so far, and the french league is different. He's going to get much harder competition in the Premier League. Melanicus

Get your facts right!I never said he was good in the first 3 months did i?, tell me where i said that?.''City where shite that season as they where just gelling together that season, and David Silva was still good in then.''That's what i said ^so surely you must of got what i was implying, that Silva was still good that season, i thought he was pretty good and was looking impressive towards the end of it. Bir_CFC 3,455
21 year old kid, doesn't know English probably feels completely lost, considering KDB and Romelu moved on as well. That said, I didn't think he was that bad. There were much worse performances out there. We need to add more 1-2s in our play, there were numerous times I saw him pass and make a run and got nothing back, but I guess that's to be expected as we don't have the best one touch passing midfield and they are probably still learning to play with each other.Anyways, making a firm judgment on the new players and the new Chelsea would be stupid until after the first 4-6 weeks. First competitive game of the season isn't a large enough sample size at all. BleedsBlue and Milan
Jase 43,479
Ben Lyttleton @benlyt Eden #Hazard relaxed after #CFC debut. 'I feel at ease, confident, quickly integrated here. The players are super-cool,' he tells L'Equipe Sheva.
HNKS 508
Why do people still listen to this Kojo? The guy is a complete tool. Thought Hazard played well, but we need to play a system where he can move across the pitch without any consequences. Playing him on the left means Ashley Cole gets isolated when Hazard moves across the pitch. nadavTKL, mediator, zolayes and 1 other

themightyblue 443
I think he's the first player that we've had at chelsea in a long time where we can say we've got a 'special' player on our hands. He's going to make a lot of defenders look silly this season
headhunter23 70
he had so many great passes and great movement how can people be so judgmental did they honestly expect messi in the first day? I thought maybe aside from nando he was looking the sharpest on the field. Au blues
zolayes 14,489
thought that along with Torres Hazard was one of the few that did themselves justice. The whole of the defence was poor and well off the pace.Hazard was the only one I thought who looked like creating
The Rising Sun 711
Hazard has now got a taste of English football and will slowly start figuring out the patterns, pace of play, how and when people tackle.... the moment he gets that... he will murder defences.....I really think against Wigan will be his breakout performance, as the quality difference between Mancity and Wigan is Huge.... wigan and Reading should give him the perfect start to believe he can beat this league. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Hazard will learn when to dribble and when to just lay off the ball. Game by game you can see him improving. He'll be a very good player by the end of this seasons. A great one in 3 or so seasons.

Jase 43,479
http://www1.skysport.../11668/7987391/Eden Hazard enjoyed his first taste of English football despite Chelsea suffering defeat to Manchester City in the FA Community Shield.Hazard had some joy early on but faded after the Blues were reduced to 10 men following Branislav Ivanovic's red card and was withdrawn after 71 minutes of the 3-2 defeat. The £32million summer signing from Lille admits that was the turning point but refused to be downbeat after the game at Villa Park."The red card killed the match," Hazard told L'Equipe."Manchester City are a team playing very well and - down to 10 - we had difficulties against their pace early in the second half. But the first half was encouraging.Atmosphere"I've already found what I came for in England - beautiful stadium, beautiful pitch and big atmosphere."I tried to do what I am used to do. Down to 10, I had to defend a lot and it was more complex."Beyond the result, I am happy with that first test. I felt at ease. We still have to sort out some details in attack but it will come. I am confident. I have adapted quickly."Playing playmaker or not? I have just arrived and the only important thing to me is to play - in any position. I would be even keen to play at left-back."There are a lot of talented players in that team. There is competition - it is the highest level."Read the second last sentence there. Not slamming Sturridge for his desire to play as a CF but maybe he could learn a thing or two from Hazard...EDIT: BAH! Late by 3 minutes!
