MrBlueGuy 1,552
Who cares, Reus/Bale/Neymar...etc is just as good anyway. Point is we can replace anyone who doesn't want to be here, I am sure we will get a world record fee when/if they come knocking anyway. If he doesn't want to stay he can go, our club is bigger than any player we are not Arsenal/Liverpool...etc who are in denial only to lose a player on bad terms/being forced by the player. No need to be worry, no one is irreplacable even the manager himself we will move forward as we always have. Saying that I hope he stays and be a legend here.
Tautvix 1,321
Let's be honest... If Real want him, they will get him But we should ask Bale + money then.

Leif 6,006
i think it's blue tinted thinking to truly believe Hazard wouldn't want to play under his idol, c'mon now. Not just his idol, but an idol to all of football. in a hotter country. where there's incredibly hot girls in the crowd and not guys holding pies. RoyalBlues 4,050
Surprisingly Bale only one and a half year older than Hazard. Bale plus the money we could get, could be used to buy Griezmann for example. So we got WC wingers in both flanks. But here I'm thinking the 'positive' side of it. Still... prefer Hazard though. We could afford to buy another RW without problem.

Didn't Jose says the other day anyone who doesn't want to be here can leave for our quoted price which for Hazard atm must be at least 100m. I mean if selling Hazard this summer for example means getting Reus and Bale for virtually the same price then we would have improved. I know in your mind that is easily fixed by bringing in some equally Fifa-rated players, but in reality we'd struggle to reach top4.Not that I think he'll leave soon iseah100
Atholy 1,293
If Hazard ever decides to leave... it's not because of Zidane, sunny weather or hot girls! The only good reason I see him to leave is to play in a creative + attacking team where he can link up with 5 Cesc's instead of 1 and get's a lot more joy out of playing football! Popular Post! !Hazard! 3,394 Posted April 22, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted April 22, 2015 I think Jose can handle this. He will tell Eden that at Real Madrid he will never be truly loved. The amount of respect for example Arsenal fans have for Thierry Henry or Chelsea fans have for Didier Drogba cannot be achieved at a club like Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo might be their best ever player yet the fans do not seem to fully respect him. If Ronaldo stops scoring, the fans will soon start to boo him. At Chelsea, Hazard can have a his own statue in front of the Stamford Bridge at the end of the decade. I m not saying Hazard will be sold right away but whenever he goes (if he does) we will always have someone to replace him ... We are Chelsea not Spurs or Arsenal. Funny thing, club can demote a player into the reserve until he is on contract but it cant go the other way around. Having said all this, If we keep challenging at the highest level we wouldnt loss out on big names ... for sure! MrBlueGuy

robsblubot 3,595
You say this confidently yet Liverpool were a midtable team before Sturridge signed even with Suarez. They were awful this season simply because he spent the entire season injured. They're a Top 4 team with him fit.Sturridge broke the record for most consecutive games scored & won the most points in the League last season with his goals . It's like saying Neymar only looks good because of the attention Messi gets.Quite on the contrary, Neymar carried a subpar Brazil side all the to the semis of the worl cup getting all the attention in the world - wish he hadn't though.Barcas prob is actually thy got too much of a good thing... MrBlueGuy 1,552
Lol @ this "club is always above the player" bullshit.Nice lets get into Liverpool/MU/Arsenal spirit and worship players to death. Have a look on RAWK for the Sterling thread, MU for the De Gea thread, Arsenal threads over the year which I cba to find. We are not like them, even if we lose our best player we will always replace properly. Muzchap and Kieran.

But i see nothing wrong with having immense affection towards a player and not wanting him to leave. Just cause the club can replace him doesn't mean the fans want them to. CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
Why would he go?3 years time Ronaldo will either be retired, RM will have flogged him back to MU, or he'll be in MLS. Can't see Bale being there fore much longer tbh. Modric will be gone, he'll be 33, Ramos, Casillas etc will be gone...Cant see him leaving - he has the opportunity to be in the centre of one of the great European power houses of the next decade, and he'll be loved by the fans. Plus Jose has had the RM experience and also he made Hazard the man he is. Etc etc.

You say "who cares, Bale/Neymar/Reus are just as good anyway", as if there's any guarantees whatsoever that they'd have a similar impact here, IF any of them would want to come here, which would be less likely if Hazard is gone.Any fan with a brain would care losing a player who carries an entire team brother DYC., Coop, Liquidator and 6 others

Without Eden this team would struggling something fierce. He's virtually been the offense for 3 months because Oscar and Cesc are shooting through Willian is a defensive wing and Costa has been hurt for decent portion.Folks get over the small club mentality the PL will continue to grow its advantage because unlike La Liga the teams at the top aren't elevated at the expense of the smaller teams. Chelsea is not a small club anymore. It's in the same sphere of influence as Real, Barca, bayern and Madrid.
