I'm hoping it's just part of a bulking up program that will even itself out by August but I really don't have any worries about him because he's always seemed like a good pro and the club know how to handle the players' fitness. He may be carrying a few extra pounds - most players are at this stage - but from what I saw yesterday he isn't far from his optimal weight.Compare him to another 5'7 player like Mata who doesn't have anywhere near the same level of acceleration, explosive speed and power. Hazard has big glutes and thighs which explains his ridiculous balance and acceleration. Look at most 100m sprinters, they have massive legs and arses and they're the quickest people in the world! I bet Hazard could squat more than most of the Chelsea team.Maybe Oscar, Josh etc need to get on that Hazard diet plan.
