The standards I hold him to, Hazard has to be a lot better on the biggest stage. He's been plagued with letting the game pass him by in the champions league, he needs to elevate his game and be the dominant player on the pitch regardless of who we are playing. Whether it was PSG or Atleti or Galatasaray or Schalke Hazard needs to be the brightest light on the pitch... he's fallen short on more than a few occasions

That's quite a simplistic view, "he needs to be the dominant player on the pitch regardless...". Did you see how we were playing in those big games under Mourinho? Even Messi can't do it alone when isolated without support and played as auxiliary full-back. Let's see how he fares in a proper team shape.

what a finish that was from him for the opener. making it lookso easy but booy he hit it perfectly and it was just inside the post. quality strike. he is so good, it doesn't even surpise you when he does things like that. however it also does not suprise you that he squard the ball into nowhere when he had a free shot.

"There is no sign of a new contract for the moment. I am focused on the last month, and we will talk later," he told

Sky Sports.

"It's not in my mind now. I have two or three years left. I just want to finish the season well and we will see afterwards."

SORT IT OUT, CHELSEA!!

Rightly so they shouldn't be pressing Hazard with contract talks atm. That can happen in the summer.

Interesting list, this time done in a sensible manner weighing success rate.

wp185_dk.svg Willian, Moses, Pedro and Hazard all make the list. According to this, Hazard and Traore are by far the best dribblers in Europe.

We should go for Traore.

Let's say those reports about him going to RM is true and he eventually end up there at the end of the season, who is going to replace him? Sanchez is 28 years old and there is probably no big chance for Chelsea to sign him. Mbappe could be an option but he will probably sign for RM. Griezmann wants to stay atleast one more year in Atletico Madrid. Dybala is unrealistic target. Coutinho is the inconsistent genius but I think he will leave Liverpool only if there is a chance to join Barcelona. James isn't the type of player that Hazard is, Bale is injury prone. This is really fucked up situation...

Losing Hazard would be such a terrible blow. I don't really trust the board/Emenalo to replace him with a quality forward. Since he's arrived we've never even made a quality forward purchase anyways. We'd probably take one of Madrid's benchmen in the deal as well which would make it even worse. Considering the players United is reported to be signing in the summer our team would be much worse than theirs. Conte might go too then. Remember what he said about not being able to eat in a 100$ restaurant with 10$.

I am a LOSC and huge Hazard fan and he is for sure my fav player of all time, following the French league quit a lot and the french team as well. To replace Hazard in Chelsea, i would advise Mbappe without any doubt.

I have never seen such a talent for a while, since Hazard actually. The guy is unbelievable.  I have the same feeling that i used to have with Eden when he was young playing at lille, when i am watching him.  This feeling when you are 100% sure that the player will be worldclass, top 5 undoubtedly, whereas i don't have the same feeling towards player such as Dembele, or even Griezmann...

Chelsea should do everything they can to sign him, because i think that Hazard will move to Madrid.

How do you rate Florian Thauvin? I know he had a disastrous spell in England but he has been in tremendous form ever since his move back to France, even managed to get a call-up to the French national squad. He reminds me a bit of Robben tbh, the way he cuts inside from the right to make use of his deadly left peg, also has a great delivery on him.

I keep mentioning it on this forum that Mbappe is one of a kind. Not even Griezmann has the ball control of mbappe and I'm sure of it.

Since Thierry Henry retired there hasn't been any similar talent till I saw mbappe. Speed, ballcontrol and absolute killer finishing at his young age. But unfortunately our board have little eye for world-class potential.

You realize we bought Lukaku, KdB and Courtois along with Hazard, Mata and Christensen.
The board has an eye for potential (or at least trust our scouts well).

I disagree. His ball control doesn't wow me at all. Genuine superstar talent but not because of his ball control.

Can't blame the club for not being able to sign players like Mbappe. When the whole world wants you, it's silly to assume Chelsea can just pick up the player in question.

I would agree with the club placing too much emphasis on the physical rather than the technical when acquiring players though. But that's also linked to the type of managers they appoint.

'He has no awareness or intelligence'; that is what the Marseille fans I know say about him.
