The only place to be 11,313
Luiz's importance as this team's quarterback goes too often unnoticed. Showed why we need him last night.I'd hate for him to read that and think he needs to be a quarterback in this team, when we have people like Lampard and Oscar in front of him who are far better at distributing the ball even from deep.He needs to focus on defending solidly for 90 minutes. chelseathebest and BlueLion.
bushman 2,043
he usually plays like that for Brazil ,, He is MUCH more disciplned than the " pundits " recogoniseWell, he looked more disciplined yesterday. Most likely, he was told not to gallivanted around much by Jose & it worked.
Phil Driver 503
He was perfect, one word of warning though , in Bendtner he couldn't have hand picked a better opponent to play against. The only place to be
The_Flash 1,144
I was hoping he would have a strong match, to perhaps force his way back in the team. I like him. I thought he had a good performance,he really worked hard. It does seem obvious that he has been told to not go forward as he was doing, as he was constantly going backwards. Shame really I liked his goals. He must have been thinking Azpi can score??
Phil Driver 503
Luiz needs to go and see a psychiatrist and get his head sorted out ,he was abysmal today ,Cahill must come in ,Luiz looks as though something is not right in his head ,he was awful today ,just the sort of weak performance Northern teams like from a mentally weak centre half . robsblubot 3,595
Luiz needs to go and see a psychiatrist and get his head sorted out ,he was abysmal today ,Cahill must come in ,Luiz looks as though something is not right in his head ,he was awful today ,just the sort of weak performance Northern teams like from a mentally weak centre half .Like I wrote in the other thread I don't think it's his head - he's just been less quick and less aggressive which happen to be his assets. Agree he doesn't deserve a spot with his current form but he was hardly to blame when the midfield crumbles the way it did in the second half - we got outplayed in all areas of the pitch in the second half. Cahill would not have made a diff.Btw lamps lost his marker for 1st Barbara
Phil Driver 503
Cahill defends the percentages ,the cross needed to be headed out for the first goal ,that half hearted tackle he made was a disgrace and that Girly trip he did ,he was a joke and just the type of weak mentally player northern teams love . That was set piece cross Lampard was marking the goal scorer and he lost him.Second goal was indeed lazy from luiz though.U really see something in Cahill nobody else does - not even any of our managers. Atlas Lion 1,223
Everyone had a bad game, not just him. I'd expect this kind of reaction from the media, not our own fans. Ainsley Harriott, Barbara and Sidzeret
The only place to be 11,313
He probably wasn't as bad as everyone suggested, but doesn't this put an end to the discussion about him being captain material for us?
JDY 1,290
Everyone was pretty bad today except for Terry. Don't understand the vendetta some fans have against Luiz Rmpr
Popular Post! Henrique 9,133 Posted November 2, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted November 2, 2013 The topic has become embarrassing. David Luiz has nothing to do with the result today. People just need to find a scapegoat for their frustration...actually Luiz was the one making the link between defense and attack. In a boring game, where the team created few chances and when he did missed incredible chances (Willian and specially Hazard) the CB end up as the scapegoat. Laughable. It has been like that since he joined. As soon as the results are bad the idiots appear in this this topic. Phil Driver 503
I am sorry but that half hearted tackle he bottled out of and that sneaky cowards trip summed him up ,northern crowds and teams love to play against that ,he was mentally weak and his passing was awful they gave him the run around and he did not fancy it ,you could see it written all over his face ,this is not football on the beach . didierforever
