ulsterchelsea 3,221
It was mental and completely out of character for him but you could see after the match when he was interviewed that he was hurt. desperately wants to put right Moscow but won't have a direct effect on the final now. Even if we win it now it will take some of the shine off it for him I'm sure
ulsterchelsea 3,221
I Wish JT could lift that cup if we win! lamps said last night if we win he'll be up there with us. Hope so
Jack Uzzi 54
Pff, hate to see a red card for this, but of course you can give it. It was a light touch, with a spectacular dive of Alexis resulting. Pity, but if Cahil and Luiz are fit, Terry suspension should not be a problem. Ivanovic and Ramires will be much more missed. What a shame for these guys ... Term-X 7,891
On a side note...This has really put the whole AVB/Lampard situation in perspective, I may have overreacted against Lamps.
Ollie 4,400
If anyone deserves to captain us to European glory and lift the trophy, it's Frank Lampard.

diskoviolente 425
Terry not being in the final is tough for the game itself, but I think that everyone knows that we wouldn´t be where we are without him. His presence against Napoli (scored a very crucial goal) and his organisation against Barcelona, giving Cahill a few lessons are a good few reasons why he still wins it with us if we win it.His moment of madness is strictly down to him. Be assured, we would ask for a head on a plate if Puyol would´ve done something like that to Torres or Drogba. Complete beyond me, to be honest. Having said that, it does fit. A bit.Lamps to captain the side and lift it ? I don´t mind. To be honest, I don´t care who plays if the ones on the pitch play their lungs out. Shane 2,275
Deserves it tbh. Still disgusted.Abandoned his team when they needed him most.
LDN Blue 7,903
On a side note...This has really put the whole AVB/Lampard situation in perspective, I may have overreacted against Lamps. In my opinion, most were justified for the time. His actions were truly horrific. Though it does seem he's come a long way to correcting them by talking on the pitch, where it matters. manpe 10,861
We were 2-0 down with 11 men, we won 2-0 with 10 men.. maybe we should start with 10 against Bayern? Is that allowed by the rules?
buccaneer 16
The way Raul pleaded to the ref after the sliding tackle. He knew a card could knock him off the finale. Disturbing .
francozola 2,040
The way Raul pleaded to the ref after the sliding tackle. He knew a card could knock him off the finale. Disturbing .His tackle was on mascherano right? It was a total dive if that was the one. Unlucky to get the yellow but then again he committed 3 or 4 fouls throughout the game so I guess it might have been justified

bluephoenix 1,131
Rambo and Iva.Well atleast if Iva is not there I have confidence that Cahill and Luiz would be able to cover for Iva and Terry... but I can't think of someone who would replace Ramires. He can run run run ... his sudden burst of energy and making the timely runs is just amazing ... He did in the first leg for setting up DD and did yesterday for scoring the crucial goal something that will surely be missed ...
Manuf 1,448
I love Lamps' reaction and how pissed he was at Terry (0:35)http://www.soccerclips.net/videos/barcelona-v-chelsea-john-terry-red-card
manpe 10,861
Well atleast if Iva is not there I have confidence that Cahill and Luiz would be able to cover for Iva and Terry... Nope. Cahill and Luiz won't be replacing Ivan, Bosingwa will. We are talking about the right-back position here, not centre-back. Currently Bran is the best one we've got for that position by far. Full-backs will be crucial against Bayern, they have one of the best winger pairings in the world.
