Negredo is decent but hes not that good, same as Llorente. Hes quite average actually... thats why I'd prefer Ba or someone else.

How can you say Llorente is "good"? In his whole career hes had one consistently good season which was last year. Nobody ever heard of him until last year when he scored 20-30 goals. In fact if Bilbao hadn't been so good last year in Europe and Spain nobody would have known who he was. Hes an average player, better than Torres but still average.

Doesn't matter who is average or not, it's not like we're blessed with options. We have to add a striker asap and the club will get whoever is decent and available.

In fact if Bilbao hadn't been so good last year in Europe and Spain nobody would have known who he was. Hes an average player, better than Torres but still average.

Llorente has scored more then 20 goals a season(in all competitions that is) for the past 3 years.He has scored goals consistently in spain he has been a regular in spain's setup from 2009 so i do think he is better then just average.

Really? I knew who he was much before last season. I think it's a bit extreme to say nobody heard of him since last season, he's made 21 appearances for Spain starting in 2008. He is a great striker when he is on form, if he is anything less than 10 m then sign him.

He has scored 35 goals in his last 65 appearances(excluding this season) which is a good return and arguably will score more with the service he will receive here.Btw he has 115 goals in 300 games for a midtable club which is quite good.

Yes which was last season. I don't think signing a player based on one season where he scored over 20 goals is right tbh, it would be like signing Michu because hes had one decent half a season.

I checked my stats again it turns out in 244 league games hes scored 82 times. Hes only scored over 20 goals in a season twice in his whole career. Negredo has scored more goals than him in La Liga (107 goals in 260 games) and obviously so has David Villa (230 goals in 443 games).

Can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading. Llorente an 'average' player? Most who have seen him play over the past seasons would agree that his all-around game is excellent, the only thing I have against him is that he could score a few more goals (But then again he isn't in the greatest of teams, no disrespect to Bilbao). There is a reason a host of top clubs have tracked him, including Barcelona and Juve, among a lot of English sides.

Getting fed up of people passing judgement on a player from just purely looking at stats. I guess Drogba was just an average player then.
