There is the best coach in the world, Pep. I knew he wont dissapoint me. No striker, defenders with those passes in defence and no balance in play vs best attacking side in the world. Pep got himself all wrong.

Tbh, they didnt deserve such high defeat, but like I said, Pep cant adapt. And nice football is saving him from public saying he is outdated.

Today he can make his team play nice and make Sterlings and Comans look like world beaters, but thats about it. He is better at marketing than at coaching.

Messi looked like an old Messi,  he is no longer an explosive player who can take on defender  from midfield line but still 3 goals, 1 assist,  a few chances created and won a penalty

His display was no better than what Ivanovic or Cahill would do at their worst. Not saying he's a bad defender, but he's clearly not worth the money we supposedly bid for him last year.

He was injured not long ago and only played to level it was needed. Still glided through defense with ease. 

But obviously his age will catch up to him sooner or later.

With that first touch - if you can call it that - I'm sure he will get a spot in any top team until he can no longer walk.  Just drop deeper for more space...
