Even though milan? Had the same and managed to not do that. The excuses are ridiculous and yet somehow they don't get painted in such a bad bad light. Some of our fans have had their moments recently but so have Liverpool yet media darlings blah blah.

If there's one positive that can come out of this from our side is that a team one game away from finishing below us has made the final.

So this team with a top quality LB and ST should be looking at making a deep run in the CL next year.

the football Gods were just playing us on all this time, no wonder the top 4 battle was this crap, and in the end we secured Champions League football for next season and the worst case scenario pointed out by @Vesper is definitely happening. Spurs and Pool in the Champions League final and possibly us and Arse in the Europa League final.

Yeah the prospect of seeing either Henderson lift the CL trophy or Spurs winning anything isn't something worth watching.
