Badboy 1,526
The little man will have plenty of chances next season !
EskWeston 696
He certainly better do! I think it is unbelievable he hasn't had more chances..... Chelsea's answer to Messi imo. Steve
.Cee 50
I hope he plays in Deco's position a lot next season.
Randall 315
Yeah I really think this lad needs more game time, he's a joy to watch because you never know what he's going to do - he has got that bit of unpredictable magic and explosive spark we are sometimes so crying out for. EskWeston 696
I hope he plays in Deco's position a lot next season.Yes, would be excellent there. Also on the wing because he is lethal running at players...
Cameron 30
I've been disappointed by how many chances he's had this season, hinting a lack of development perhaps.
EskWeston 696
I've been disappointed by how many chances he's had this season, hinting a lack of development perhaps. Not for me, hinting at a lack of confidence from Ancelotti to use the youngsters once we hit a certain point. Kakuta showed what sort of impact he can have on the first team, and has had a decent season for the reserves too, a little up and down but thats what reserve football is like. Badboy 1,526
I dont really know if i would like to see him in deco's position esk. I think he is more dangerous in the last third of the pitch. kakuta is very hard to knock off the ball like messi so playing him in midfield would utilise his vision better because he will be able to see the whole pitch. But his ability to run at player with close control has got to be considered.
Term-X 7,891
MY WEEK AT WORK: STEVE HOLLAND Posted on: Fri 30 Apr 2010The best training…Gael Kakuta early in the week. We had a 3 v 3 in a tight area session. Gael has incredible ability and he was having one of those days where he is almost unplayable. It can be entertaining watching him play when in that sort of mood, and hopefully he'll excite Chelsea fans for years to come.http://www.chelseafc...ge/LatestNews/0,,10268~2039964,00.html Blueprint 104 and Morpheus
Badboy 1,526
He will entertain the crowd next season like robben used to do.
NattyBlue 44
^ Indeed, the squad will be cut down in summer, more chances for real talents like him.I do see him as the future and I've thought that for 2 years now lol
Blueboy 14
I barely heard anything about him lately. Made his debut for us in the league against Wolves, but after he missed his penalty against Blackburn he seems to be a bit out of the spotlights. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, it could work out well for his development (after all he has had enough media-attention with all the transfer-ban rubbish). But wich of the two is it; did the club keep him out of the spotlights or has he just been under-performing and therefore doesn't make the headlines? P.s; I couldn't find individual player profiles for the reserves/youth, so thought i would create a new topic.. Cameron 30
Well, he started after the Blackburn match against APOEL and was arguably our best player... otherwise patience is key.
Kostas 1,468
Unfortunately it has been a long time since he was even on the bench.Van Aanholt and Hutchinson have had more play time than he lately.
Kajo 176
I think in next season he will get more chance to play. We looking for 3 points every game and it's a bit hard for young midfielder to fight for a place in squad with Cole,Ballack and Deco. Term-X 7,891
carlo has both j.cole & kalou on the bench.. who will be first choice over kakuta (unfortunately)carvalho and bosingwa are still out so Van Aanholt and Hutchinson get bench time. zolayes 14,489
I have been wonderring why so little news of him ..of course we have so few reserve games..surely somethingthat needs to be resolved..why not more friendlies for them against div 1 teams ? Kostas 1,468
He took part in the friendly reserve game against the Yids but I didn't see him in the paradeSurely taking part in the celebrations would have been good for him and the way he "blends" with the rest of the players.
