De Bruyne is a good player, but its horse/bolted, crying over yesterday.

Its churlish to put all the responsibility/blame on a manager for transfers. Mourinho would have some input, but the majority of moves in and out are business deals negotiated by influential agents and accountants. At Chelsea most of the decisions about transfers are executed by Maria and Emanalo.

Its also one dimensional to see it as 'a good player lost'. They might be good individually, but often they dont gel with the rest of the squad, personal problems, and clashes of personality with other team members or club officials. Theyre human beings, commodified by big business. It isnt black and white like swapping Panini cards.

The reality is that this is Chelsea FC and to say that it did not exist before Jose is crazy - we used to have Dennis Wise (who was a good holding midfield player simply because he hurt people), Ron Harris, and our fans who probably had one of the most angry firms in London in the 80s. And firstly, if we're in the business of 'what ifs' the fact is that he would be rotting on the bench anyway, as Mata would be in his place, Hazard would be on the left and Luiz would be in CM along side Mikel as we never brought Matic, and Hazard would not have developed as well with KdB in the team - and the fact is that he is a much more versatile player, EH10 can attack and ruin the opposition (with the exception of his crisis of confidence), he can defend and hold down a game, he is a complete winger. I would not have it any other way.

Not a big fan of KDB (although I'm Belgian, I know, weird right?) , but he's exactly what our team is missing right know, quality first intention plays.

He does not think twice about taking a shot, a risky pass, or putting crosses into the box.

I'm a big Hazard fan, but sometimes I would like him to play more direct and put more balls in the 16 yards, instead of slow things down and play backwards.

The only players in the squad I deem capable of what KDB does are Fabregas and Oscar, but they're just not delivering at the moment, let alone playing for the latter.

He was by far the best in preseason till he got injured and arguably motm in the first game against Hull. Mourinho doesn't know how to incorporate attacking players that's why he failed here.

I'm really curious what arguments you're coming up with to minimalise KDB's winning goal against strong opposition yesterday. it might even be possible that his goal later on will be decisive in reaching the knock out stage of the CL.

I even read that KDB's stats (5 goals and 5 asssists) are the best of a new city player in history...
