I want to see a back 4 like this:

Luiz--Terry--Cahill--Ivanovic

Hmm, don't agree... I seriously hope for Ivan - Luiz - Terry - Bertrand

why on earth would we start experimenting Ivan at LB when we have a natural LB Ryan ready to step up I don't know. plus you both Luiz on RB and unproven Cahill in centre.. this line has disaster written all over it with players out of position and a debutant.

On our current form and if United play well we could get a bollocking

I'd go

Cech

Ivan Terry Luiz Bertrand

Essien Romeu Lampard

Piazon Lukaku Mata

Why such an 'under strength' team you may ask.

Because these are the players who give a fuck.

What one great performance out of the last 18 months coupled with a few average performance while approaching 34? He should be lucky he is even been considered been given a contract extention. Instead he goes on the pitch acting like he does not give a fuck half the time any more becuase the club is follwing their policy and won't give him a two year contract. Just so he can be sure he has a large paycheck every week for at least two years and not having to prove he deserves it afterwards.

Jesus christ, the amount of people complaining of Torres fanboys.

which of the two has not scored for 5 months?

My heart clearly wants us as a team to take this game by the scruff of the neck and win by 2 goals at least.

My brain however, thinks this will be another Liverpool freakshow! My prediction is 2-1 to United, although I clearly don't want that result!

Its like a deeeeeep dark depression in here these days. Yeah we played like shit against Swansea, and a lots

of other matches lately. But the season isnt over yet, and in sure we will play a great match on sunday and win 2-0.

because nobody expects us to perform!.

I ment Ivanovic on rightback and Luiz on Leftback where he has played in Benfica and then Cahill and Terry know each other from the national team. We all also know that Bertrand will never get a chance and Bosingwa... well we dont have to talk about him

I do think AVB has on the whole got it right with the youth players.

Apart from Ryan Bertrand who should be playing more, if he somehow comes in and produces a MOTM display but Cole comes back at Goodison Park a week later i will rerrange my room until i cant move in it.

I love the optimism that Ryan might get a game on Sunday. .you all know we are gonna patch Paulo up and play him at LB

yeah probably. Is that Van Anholt? whatever he was called on loan -he looked ok. Alternatively can see Luiz there with JT, Vanovich and Boswinga

I'd go

Torres

Mata Meireles Sturridge

Romeu Essien

Bertrand Luiz Terry Ivanovic

Meireles played well behind striker back when he was with Liverpool

I actually think that is an interesting idea that we haven't seen yet. Meireles did look good playing behind the striker at Liverpool and would be a better, more creative option than others we have seen in that role, ideally it would be Mata playing there but because we don't have a decent left winger he has to stay out wide so Meireles behind the striker might be the next best thing.

That being said, I highly doubt we will see it being put to use against Man Utd.
