I'd take Pogba if we tried for Witsel or Gündogan and failed, but he shouldn't be our first choice for this position.

Exactly. I don't want any buy that does not massively improve the position again. So martinez is a no for me.

Pogba might not be worth 40 million, but even if he is overpriced and Juve take Benteke out of England, it could be good business. Take a look at the highest-valued centre midfielders on transfermarkt and Pogba is already in the top 20. He will likely gain value regardless of Chelsea's future actions in the transfer market.

Pogba and Diame in January would be perfect. Dump Jon Obi Mikel if some club wants him.

It depends on his price. If 25m is the top, just maybe Chelsea may buy him. Anything over 25m is too much, I feel. Unless, Chelsea sells Mikel for example, perhaps then it´s feasible.
