To be fair he's hardly going to say he's over the hill :smiliecap1:

Unfortunately age gets us all, and I hope he's not an embarassment next season.

Exactly. Lampard can't go through the final years of his career as a crap (crap as in compared to his usual high level) player for both Chelsea and England. I wish he would retire (English NT) so he can focus on his Chelsea career and use the international breaks to rest.

He'll play on for now and he'll never play for England again after Euro 2012. Maybe he should finish before then tho tbh. He's so slow, has no reactions and seems to just get through games as they pass him by. He's on his last legs.

33 years old now. Been an amazing servant for us and unfortunately it's coming to an end but he'll always be remembered as the best goalscoring midfielder for us ever and an absolute legend. That injury he got last year really fucked him up because i reckon he probably had a bit left in the tank but i feel he's very nearly done now. Hopefully he'll continue to play for us like Scholes did for Man Utd, just a bit part roll and some experience off the bench.

Will always be a Chelsea legend tho.

A Chelsea legend for sure!

We all know he's on a decline but no doubting his commitment for the club and the game is unquestionable. A great ambassador of the club and hopefully he'll be playing on even if it's part-time roles off the bench! A remarkable player who's certainly left his mark in the illustrious Chelsea history.

Happy Birthday Super Frankie Lampard!
