rantdeville 195
City, huh? Weird. Gotta be a financial ploy. Maybe they're paying him what he wants. If he just wanted to keep himself fit, couldn't he have just stayed with us and trained with the first team like Henry did his first year with Red Bulls in off season and I think Beckham did in the Galaxy off season? My bad all, I neglected to realize that the two teams are jointly owned by the same people. Makes sense.
The Chels 2,502
Apparently, signing for a team that shares Man City colors, owners, finances, etc is completely different than signing to Man City. Naive people. How's that naive? In the first instance he's not playing for a direct rival of ours whilst in the second instance he is. That's a big difference. kobematabryant and Daniel1980

Im sure both lampard/villa knew beforehand that they was a good chance they would be going to man city for a bit before the mls season.

Term-X 7,891
Just hope JT never does anything like this, a 'proper' chelsea ambassador. He'd be thinking of the fans, and how we'd react. seanptmiller and Rambo

I am not going to explain why because others already have.Yes, I'm naive to think that signing for NYCFC is completely irrelevant to Man City.....David Villa is going on loan to Melbourne City. Man City was not Frank's only option.Villa will link up with Melbourne, who are also bankrolled by Premier League champions Manchester City, on loan until December before returning to New York for the club's debut season. There's a massive difference between the commute to Melbourne and New York. He's a professional footballer. These things happen and whilst it's shit it's not a reason to bash a genuine legend of this club. Gotta laugh at City having to sign aged legends from other teams though because they've got none of their own. Korea and zolayes

Who cares if he goes to a team bankrolled by one of our rivals? We don't want him to actually go TO one of our rivals. Why is that so hard for you to understand?
