This record is nice and secures his spot in the record books, but that night against Liverpool when he stepped up when he must've been hurting was one of the most amazing things I've seen in sport. The bond between the supporters and him was incredible. Everyone knew what he was going throw and grown men were welling up.Just an absolute legend and I'd love for him to get into management so he can come back one day. He's got the intelligence and he's got the dedication, but I don't know if he really wants it at this point in time. He's secure after he retires from the game and he's got a young family, but it would be amazing to see him perhaps learning his trade under Jose because beyond his talents on the pitch he's just such a great guy and a great representative of this club. Share Posted May 11, 2013 I saw Osgood and Zola play for Chelsea and Frank is better than both of them ,the only one I can think of who compares is Jimmy Greaves and that is with my old mans input ,but Greaves was only at Chelsea for two seasons ,so for that reason Frank Lampard is declared by me as Chelsea's greatest ever player ,some will only appreciate how good he is when he is gone ,some think he only scores goals they are very wrong ,Frank is an allround midfielder who has everything ,the goals are the icing on the cake. It was of the highest quality, one of the greatest weaker foot finishes I've seen in a long time, in a time where we needed a goal desperately. What a finish. He's the emblem of this club, and I feel lucky and privileged to have been able to watch him (albeit not live, which is one of my life's biggest regrets), support him and enjoy all his goals for so many years. He's more than a legend. To me, he is the perfect footballer. And like I said in the match thread, this is up there with Munich for me. That minor pitch invasion by a group of fans was reminiscent of the Munich celebrations.And damn, I can't stop looking at the goals. During the game I went mental after both goals went in, but especially the first. A few seconds after that goal I looked outside the living room window (which I'd forgotten to close), and just as I suspected, one of our neighbours looked slightly worried, in fact he must've thought I was getting sodomized. But watching the goals now, I got goosebumps and I even cried a little, and that Arabic commentator helped make the video even more emotional ("al superr Frankkk", "al superr heerrooo"), it sounded like he was crying as well. I am proud to say I witnessed those goals and as a man on and off the field no one deserves it more! Congratulations Super Frankie Lampard, a true great to the game!!!!
