Popular Post! Sheva. 5,373 Posted December 8, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted December 8, 2012 If he signs an extension then it's obvious the club has had a rethink, and realized you can't just get rid of all your experienced players for kids.Even Rafa was saying today how the team is good, but needs more character, experience and leadership. The Mak 4,459
Honeslty, it will be very interesting to see how he does when we play him CAM, we have lacked leadership so much, i can bet Lampard will sort out a lot of problems, especially in midfield. That's what I'm hoping for mate, because we all know Frank isn't the best (to say the least) as a DM. I would imagine he will be deployed as CAM though, as Rafa has made it pretty clear that Mazcar are overused; and he can hardly play as one of the wide AMs, tracking full-backs all day.I feel his mere presence on the pitch really shouldn't be underestimated. Then we can play Hazard on the wing with his acceleration then have our playmaker out of Mata/Oscar, but we have so many options to rotate with Marin and Moses so we might just be able to look forward to something hopefully. The Skipper 20,609
And the "leadership" card is being played again likes the fucking goddamn key to enlightenment. I'm sorry but that's NOT is not good enough to continue paying massive, massive wages to a player who is 34, much more injury prone and is not even the half the player he once was. Face it, Chelsea have bottle it to stop a few fanatics bawling like a baby.So we should just sell him because he's declined as a player? Forgetting that he can still be a great squad player and forgetting that he's one of the few experienced heads left at this club? Forgetting that he's one of Chelsea's best ever players? Giggs and Scholes aren't anywhere near the players they used to be but I guess because they're old and are wasting the wage budget they should be moved on as well right? manpe 10,861
It could be he gets a wage cut if the extended contract rumour is true. Tbh I'll leave the financial matters to the professionals, I will just be glad to have him around in any role.

In fact some argue that United have suffered the last couple of years for being a bit too reliant on them (i.e asking Scholes to come out of retirement)
Madmax 9,219
It will be so good to see Super Frank out on the field again. We've missed the on-pitch leadership him and JT provide.

Leif 6,006
He was actually really good in his cameo today!I expected lots of backwards passing from him, so I was surprised by how much he actually helped us in an attacking sense. EdenHazard 163
"I'm a Chelsea player as simple as that. I've had a great, great time here. But maybe things don't last forever. Although I want it to last forever you have to be big enough to know what it is.""I feel like I have two or three years at least in me at the top level. I am determined to play a few more years and see what pans out in the near future."But it is not for me to decide on this one. It's up to the club."Whatever happens, I have had a great time at Chelsea."Come on Roman, Forget your stupid rule about contracts or whatever it is. Just give Frank a new contract, and Cole. They both have alot to offer. We'll regret it alot if we let them both go. Having a young good squad isn't always good, You need experience in their as well! No matter what happens, I'll respect Frank's decision. Won all there is to win out there, Give it his best. Club legend. If he is too leave in the summer. I hope he leaves as a World Champions and our all time leading goal-scorer! Rambo and xPetrCechx

Popular Post! TorontoChelsea 4,064 Posted December 14, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted December 14, 2012 Time for fatty to leave, yes!!! :blue scalf:All of us have different opinions on different players and what would be best for Chelsea, but CELEBRATING the possible departure of one of the greatest Chelsea players ever is shocking for anyone claiming to be a Chelsea supporter. Even those supporters who believe it is best for Lampard to move on, do so with a heavy heart not with flag waving and cheering. Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
I've watched him carry this club on many occasions, and I think he has more than deserved his big payday in the MLS or China.
