Term-X 7,891
"Man City are bringing in Lampard so they can comply with PL/CL HG quota, how disrespectful to one of the best players this country has seen."Great move from City tbh though, humiliating for both Chelsea and Lampard. Our legends can be bought, it's almost as if Chelsea is such a nothing club that our ambassadors are more than happy to end their careers leaving a bad taste in the mouth.Jobs was forced out of Apple and started up his own company. This is a weird comparison. It's not a full comparison, just the image/being synonymous like JT association.
the-bovril-stand 7
Jobs was the face of apple, JT & Lamps are the face of Chelsea (which is essentially what I was getting at). These are not mere employees though are they, and the current board are not Chelsea. He should have thought of the fans because it's bigger than that. Lamps should have been intelligent enough not to sign for the City family in the first place; why end your career on a sour note.He should have respect for the fans and his legacy, it comes with responsibility. He's lost part of his identity now, not proper chels like JT. I completely disagree with that statement. Ofcourse " He's proper Chelsea ", how the hell can he not be after all that he has contributed to the club. The club weren't going to offer him a new contract so he signed for New York, and as he's not required until December he's keeping his eye in with another team. OneMoSalah 8,886
Just making a mockery of a PL legend really using him for 'homegrown status' he will never be a regular for City. Why would he want to go to City as well? What the fuck...
Term-X 7,891
People hardly remember his Swansea loan. They won't remember this either WTF, lmao. COMPLETELY different scenarios. He wasn't a Chelsea legend or symbol of the club then, just a kid who needed game time. He's Frank Lampard now, someone who's identity is intertwined with Chelsea, and the fans feel strongly about. BleedsBlue 1,549
I admire his determination to stay fit and competitive. Maybe its a message to Roy to show that he can still play for England. Also I am quite sure Jose and the club would have known about this so there shouldn't be any hard feelings. So he's supposed to sit at home until he's required by New York, get real, he's total professional who wants to be ready in all respects for when he is needed by his club. He doesn't owe the fans anything else . He's already given...by the netful. The only place to be and Special Juan

the-bovril-stand 7
I wouldn't really want him in our squad as he is right now anyway. I smell an attempt at sabotage here. What? Did he suddenly become a bad player? Is he taking illegal stimulants, How is he now is he incapable of playing to a high standard? As for sabotage, Jesuschristonabicycle!
