You either have it when your 21 years old, or you will never get it. It is not like Pep can make Mount turn into prime Xavi lol. There is a reason why Pep always went for creative players, so he could copy his old Barcelona, who already had world class creative masterminds. RJ, Zouma, Pulisic, for a while Kovacic.Tammy's hold up play clearly improved big time, even though nobody will accept that.Like I said before, I don't expect much out of our poor midfield. Only Ziyech can save this team.But I criticise Lampard for not giving creative players like Billy, Bate and Anjorin chances, while Mount and Kovacic clearly struggle to give creative pulses into the team. Tires of seeing our youth perform so well every match with tremendous performance and Lampard decides to play jorginho or Mount... Lampard spent over 100 million on attacking players but does not seem to have a clue on how to fit the 2 biggest ones in and we are seemingly relying on ONE player again!? 3. Lampard is no real deal at this point...Yes, I give him the fault for playing Mount week and week out. Of he continues like that, he will eventually get sacked because Ziyech one day will get injured again. We have three midfielders that have similar characteristics. Kante is world class at defending, but does not offer much from an offensive point of view. Mount is good at shooting, set pieces and presssing. Lacks creativity. Kovacic has top class technical abilities, fast and strong, can tackle and he is very dynamic and can move quickly with the ball past players. Lacks creativity too. Basically, Lampard plays three uncreative players. I know people will come with this Liverpool bullshit argument. Liverpool have Salah(has scored more goals than CR7 in PL), Mane, TAA (world class at going forward and creates as many chances as world class wingers) and Robertson(world class at going forward). They play week and week out and are rarely injured,while Pulisic and Ziyech have never played a Pl to this day lol. Mount is a poor mans Oscar.
