I dont know if this has been mentioned but wouldnt jesus navas be good for Chelsea on the right wing?

He was almost signed when José was still in charge. I think he failed the medical due to his homesickness. It was much worse back then though, to the point where stress and anxiety induced seizures occured. He couldn't leave Sevilla without anxiety attacks and now he is playing at the Euros, so he must have gotten a little better.

I want Chelsea to get Clint Dempsey.

I have no idea if it would be a great move footballing wise, I couldn't tell you.

But just all the positive buzz it would create in the US media and everything it would be so awesome.

If Clint Dempsey isn't that good I won't mind but if he goes to MU or Arsenal or whoever and starts playing lights out and my gut instinct is proven true I'm going to be so dissapointed.

As much as he was in great form last season, I would say no. His best position is in the CAM role and we have enough players for that role. More importantly though, he's already 29 y/o. We should be looking to get players younger than that.

Who gives an actual fuck over the US media? You want us to sign a player solely because of media attention in the USA? Shocking.

BTW the new money for this sport is coming from Asia and the side of North America/Latin America.

So I would love to get an Asian player, American player or Mexican player.

More marketing for us! blue%20scalf.gif

Although not Asian, Hulk is apparently a MASSIVE deal in Japan.

Looks like Malaga or Juventus could sign Lucio (who just left Inter) on a free!

He's 34, but still has tonnes to give. He's an amazing guy to have around in training for the young guys, and he's a great professional.

At Juventus he'd be back up, and at Malaga probably a rotation option. It all comes down to what his body can handle and what he wants I guess.

Hope he goes to Juve. Would be perfect there against mid-to-lower table teams and 'easy' Champions League teams.

Balotelli would be perfect Drogba replacement. With proper attitude, this guy would be best striker in 2 years. Only 21, I think he already is mentaly strong enough, but his arrogance/joking lets him down in several 1v1 actions. He is very un-serious, but could be great striker.

Doubt we could get him. I think he'll be playing for Milan in 2 years time.

True but wouldn't want to take a risk with his present attitude. He could easily behave better 2-3 years down the road or still remain the same, an enigma. And don't think we need another striker who goes fluff his line in front of goal.

Wouldnt want him. Perhaps if he would be brought in when Drogba was around so he could straighten him up abit, but today? Nah, not Chelsea material.
