I'm excited about the direction the club is heading in with the young talent we have, particularly that of Mata, Hazard and Oscar.

The problem that we have is in the past few years we have relied on a really strong spine to the team with decent players around it, now we have some top players around with no spine (with the exception of Cech).

If we sign a top centre back, centre midfielder and striker in the summer, we won't be far away.

I can see the signs of David Luiz maturing and stepping up, and i wouldn't be surprised in the next season or two to see him become captain. Although I like Ivanovic and he is a very important squad player, I do still think a top defender alongside Luiz is needed.

A top midfielder is a must. I would like somebody who can get their foot stuck in but can also play. Watching Dortmund at the moment, someone like Gundogan would be an excellent buy. I know there has been talk as well if Mourinho comes that he wants to bring Khedira with him, similarly another good fit.

In terms of a striker, i don't want Falcao or Cavani. They are too expensive, and every time we spend big money on a striker it is a complete waste of time and money. One player that I saw us linked with the other day that would really interest me is Javier Hernandez. I doubt United would sell him to us, but if they were to move for another forward like Lewandowski then they may have to accept letting him leave. He is a simple goalscorer, something we're crying out for. He gets on the end of everything, is always moving and playing off the last man and would feast on the creativity that we can provide. I think somebody like him would be a much greater success and value for money than some of the big name strikers we're being linked with out there.

We should have gone for gundogan when he was still at Nürnberg everbody who watched the sportschau(bundesliga highlights) could see he would become a worldclass player.. And I would not take the lewa rumuors from Bild too seriousley they report every rumour and I have family in germany and they tell me Bild is like the sun or daily mail. With the götze rumours they were lucky but if they should be believed lewa would be at united we would have hulk and bought schürrle last season already just too give a few examples.. And they quote papers like rhe mirror and daily mail.

In Spain we know that Lewandowski was one of the most liked players from Guardiola since a couple of years ago. I'm pretty sure was required to sign him.

Getting a player after he has shown the absolute best he will ever deliver is a mistake, from both business and footballing perspectives.

We'd pay inflated prices and there is no way he can go anywhere but down from his absolute top.

Torres is essentially the worst case scenario right there, so I can only hope we've learned from that.

THat means we only have two english players (probably Cb and dlo wont be english). And there is big question if Chalobah will be starter in case we sign someone like Bender or other top DM. Am I the only one worried about our english player amount?

Check Bayern or Borussia, Barca or even Real have lot and realy important NT players of their countries. We just dont have the english feel anymore.

Our team is weaker, no english player who is key to us, we are linked with no one either. Big task for Cfc (and whole en glas football in general) to change.

German and Spanish teams will rule for long time now. SpaiN has superb tradition of great prospects and germany has great system for young players. England dont realy care bout English players realy. I doubt there is any english player (or just talent) that could get into german or spanish nt.
