So, we could end up signing Andre Schurrle, Edin Dzeko, Stevan Jovetic, Nemanja Matic, Elaiquim Mangala, Daniele De Rossi, Fernandinho, not forgetting Cavani and Lewandowski, lol.

LOL...Realistically thinking.. we'll probably end up signing: Schurrle, Mangala, De Rossi.

Man City won't sell Dzeko to Chelsea...they're not Arsenal, they don't 'strengthen' rivals.

And Modric, Gundogen, Coentrao, Reus, and much more. Gonna be a dull transfer window lol.

Damn, I forgot about them.

Why are we being linked with so many second rate players ? Sneijder (great but possibly past his best), Dzeko (City flop) , Jovetic etc ....

How is Jovetic a second rate player? He's top-class...but I don't think Chelsea needs a second-striker/AM.

Bit slow there pal.

Anyway, what is all the mentioning of Matic. Is he really any good now?

I haven't seen much of him, but I thought he was decent but not great in the Europa final and similar when he was with us.

If we were talking £15m then I wouldn't mind but £30m sounds stupid. We wouldn't be far out being able to sign Marchisio or Gundogan for that amount who are both far better players.

For a start I don't think Matic would be any better than Romeu, and secondly we have a lot of young talent coming through, alongside Ramires and Mikel in their mid twenties. I would like someone in their late 20's who is perhaps in the prime of their career and can offer some experience behind our young, dynamic attack.

Fernandinho or De Rossi would be my choice if possible for a midfield enforcer.

This one is a bit of a long shot - Seamus Coleman, Everton (right back) have liked what I have seen from him at Everton this season great going forward and I remember him making a great last ditch tackle on Torres at the Bridge which stopped a certain goal , Dave has not convinced me as yet ,but next season will be the one we can judge him on fully.
