I think Everton will always just be Everton, James is finished for me, last big hoorah in a top league and they keep throwing money about but on players that are just failures.

Moise Kean, Iwobi, Tosun to name a few, can't see much changing with James, Doucoure and Allan. But that's just my opinion. They won't finish higher than eighth.

Thing with Everton is they are midtable club and they are signing players who should compete for much higher places.

Offcourse they wont be putting extra effort to finish 8th instead of 9th because they dont realy care.

And yet Everton pays very well, so they kind of stagnate there even if they were once promising.

Richarlison is the exception because dude been through hell and is a baller.

A lot of the time when these mid to low table sides buy a bunch of new players they fall flat on their faces. Carlo is a great manager so if anyone can raise Everton's level it's him. They'll probably be a tough match for all of the big boys if they raise their game for those occasions.

Can see a little pack of several midtable clubs forming that on their day can be awesome. Like Wolves or Sheff United last season.  Everton could be like those sides if these signings click with the decent players they already had.

Interesting little team they are assembling.

I am not surprised about the latter two, no top team want them but Allan’s case is very strange.. That guy is a beast, he was one of the best players in Napoli for years but suddenly Signor Gattuso started to ice him. Moving away is no wonder but he could do better.

Im super hyped about this move. Rennes is realy cool club, developing young players. I was lowkey hoping they get Boga to improve squad for CL because he already played there.

This is brilliant for Boga and Rennes.

De Laurentiis: "From now on when there are important offers four our players we will sell. I understood that Italy doesn't guarantee anything to anyone. The fans and I have to live for the day, that's what they ask of us. I was wrong not to sell Koulibaly for £110m".

Barca can shock you everyday. They rejected to sell Rakitic like 2 years ago for 80m to PSG and now he left for free

Now reading that they may let Umtiti go for free and he has 3 years left on contract. Just 2 years ago he was World Cup winner.

Rakitic is 32 or 33. Hardly a shocker would of been more a shock if they sold him for that 2 years ago even if it was PSG. Think Barca tried to offer him to PSG for Neymar in that deal firstly but when PSG wanted to buy him for 80m€ (lot of talk it was 65m €) separately, he didnt want go either which is why he said the whole I am not a sack of potatoes thing.

Not sure its free either his move now, Seville got him for like 1.5m € upfront and then goes upto 10m € with add ons. Potentially only going to reach 4m € for definite, rest depends on him or Sevilla doing very very well apparently.

Umtiti is a weird one, always a good CB but move to Barca and Euro performances sky rocketed his stock and overrated him a bit IMO. WC winner or not, will find a club somewhere if they want rid of him. I think Koeman could improve him a lot also though.

He was very much second fiddle to Dembele when he was there previously.
