From what I read I thik Bayern fans don't like him. In normal conditions he is not in the starting eleven and maybe he would like to join us. One of the most complete wingers I have seen a player be at this age. Pace, power, strength, stamina, skills, dribbling, shooting. He is the most talented Dutch player of their next generation. LvG knows exactly how to utilise him to great effect. That being said I don't believe he will be the player to close the between us and them. Reminds you all about Van Ginkel, he is once one of the best prospect in Eredivise and Holland. And no, I don't think he will be better than Ronaldo. Ronaldo and Messi are on different universe. How many times we heard that this player the next Ronaldo, that player the next Messi, German Messi, Egyptian Messi? No one will even close. Godin is more experienced and I don't think he will moan if being benched and also will cost much less than Varane. Godin and Terry against team with fast attackers.
