Reasons being, I believe he fits a counter-attacking style as much as he suits a possession based one, and so he'd suit Jose's style to a T. He doesn't have a weak foot and can play a Di Maria role as easily as he plays a conventional winger role.Besides that, he's perfectly capable (though this was said about Schurrle) of playing as the actual striker, good enough in my opinion to take over from Remy should he leave due to injury concerns. He'd be formidable back-up for the entire front line, he's a goalscorer, and it wouldn't be surprising if he displaced Willian, not that i'm eager for that to happen at all. They might even add Varane if Mourinho puts in a few million euros.In my opinion this is a good trade. Bale is good in PL and has the psychical skills to be one of the best players here, if not THE best.At the same time, Bale would fit our playing style more than Hazard because of his direct style of playing. He is quick and strong. We need this new face to boost the team. Loosing Hazard is a big loss but getting Bale is a big win. Who would you prefer? Fair enough. I agree with you a lot! He has been our gamechanger this year obviously. Winning the PFA Player of the year is not easy at all and he probably won it by far. Bale just has a bigger defensive work rate which is very much in the taste of Mourinho. Of course Hazard is working his a** off but he just doesn't live up to the defensive attributes that Bale is having. We all love Hazard - i get that. I love him too. But who would Mourinho pick? Hard to see Isco staying in Real for example.In other news, Di Marzio is talking about PSG and Barca's intrest in Pogba. PSG made "verbal offers" and Barca "working" despite the transfer ban to bring him in summer of 2016.I would be really annoyed if we wouldnt at least try get him. No thanks, Hazard is just too exciting to watch and Bale seems the type to get a hamstring injury once every 3 weeks...
