Torres was fantastic, went for Romeu though because he really deserves respect for what he did last night. Composure, work rate, vision. Everything. One can see that he went to the Barca school of defending. As AVB pointed out in his postmatch interview, he faces the goal all the time, receives the ball from Cech or centre halfs then turns and urges the midfieldplayers going forward and then playing the pass. Hopefully he´ll stay with us for a long time and that this boy won´t become another "lost son" -case like Fabregas.

work comp so can see screens properly to vote----pah

would go for Oriel.....excellent apart from one misplaced pass...opposition not the greatest and will have harder tests but for a young man showed no nerves at all and not overawed by big name players around him.........

Torres & and to lesser extent Meireilles had excellent games....but they were missing alot of their defence...but still can only beat whats in front of you

Luiz........gonna get a red soon for needless/reckless tackles.....european opposition are better and more proficient at the Stevie G starfish dives and he'll pay the price.....

overall good game, esp 1st half....would have liked to have seen a Torres hattrick ( or Malouda fckn pass instead of shooting all the time) and Josh get some time........but we can't have everthing

Really tough choice, but I have to go with Torres. 2 goals, 1 post and 2 shots while playing nicely generally. His dribbles also caused trouble to Genk players, although he did slow down a bit in the last quarter of the match.

Other then him, Romeu and Meireles were just fantastic! Absolutely love 'em.

It was nice to see Meireles in a more advanced position and that's where I'd love to see him play from now on.

Romeu has proven that Mikel's place in our team is under serious attack and I fuckin' love it!
