the subs were needed especially with all the football we will be playing in the next few weeks.. needless to say it sucked the spark out of the team and the zest going forward..

we really need to work on that off the bench zip..

it seems to me because of the egos on the team when players come off the bench a lot of the time its with an attitude and is killing the team dynamic/flow

For whatever reason people seem to care more about what Torres does than whether Chelsea are winning or not, strange times.

I know. It's the same with Lampard, even though we win, and he played alright, they still say he is shit, and focus on that instead of us winning.

Exactly!! Man U last season played like utter shite to start and heck throughout half of it but no one gave a flying fuck about how they played end of the day they looked at the results and the points. And that what counts at the end of the game.Yeh we played like crap but we won..we learn and move on.If we play like crap against Man U and still come out with a win there be no complaints at all! No one will moan about the performance be to happy with the result to care!

And our goal diff may not be amazing but it was to start with last season and we kinda lost it anyway in the end. We've played against some tough teams and havent done to bad..

Absolutely spot on!! :goodpost:

We played so well for 60 minutes. Im glad we won but how can anyone be positive about AVB's subs. Fair enough he wanted to keep Sturridge and Mata injury free for United match, but why play Malouda? Switch to a 4-5-1 or something.

fair enough, but my point is that the two would be better on the pitch together and i strongly believe that

I agree that they would be. I don't even think Torres should of come on today, 10 mins on the pitch with no decent service has done him no good.

Yes, Torres has that played that bad. He is a striker and he should score.

Today Lampard played much better, and people still say he should be dropped, or he's shit. I'm tired of it.

And than you, saying that AVB is taking it out on Torres, What planet are you on? Jesus Christ.

He is taking it out Torres, cause as i mention before Torres was far better in the first 2 games, while Lampard worse and still play the whole game.

AVB is scared of dropping the leaders. Torres is a new guy and does not command any respect in the dressing room.

If you drop Lampard or Terry, then the atmosphere will change.

Stop bashing Lampard. He had three mediocre games, but he wasn't that bad, and we did fine today especially in the 2nd half.

So he had 3 mediocre games and managed to play the full 90 minutes? While Torres played good the first 2 games and did not get more time??

You are boring.

So are you!

I hope Boas finally understood today that Anelka can't be count as a starting eleven player. And he should give a chance to Josh, as Lampard is nothing like a player in form. Josh is without any minute after 4 fixtures while Romeu was already on the pitch.
