I would go if i lived in London.

But even then I would certainly not complain about 50 bucks!

If it was like 200 or 300 then maybe.

50 bucks is about the avg. price i pay to see an international friendly at the Red Bull Arena. And they are certainly worse then EPL matches.

Atmosphere at the MHU (normal seats) is indifferent. but on a whole the atmosphere at SB is usually shite. I'm not having this booing malarkey though, what are we? Arsenal? Fuck off. I've come to blows with alot of Chelsea "fans" mostly East of West stands who have been booing or slagging off the team for the whole game. There are thousands of people who can't afford to get to the game and would improve our atmosphere so much. If you want to boo and slag off our players, do it infront of your own TV because although it may sound harsh, in my opinion, you aren't welcome at Stamford Bridge. Ever.

Unusually i sat in the West Stand on Saturday and i can tell you that there was no 'booing' at all throughout the whole game, you always get the odd idiot shouting abuse wherever you sit, then they act completely different when things go our way - hypocrites!

I will reiterate what i've said before on this subject - i have never booed in my life, it doesn't help our cause whatsoever but if fans feel they have the right too because they pay a packet to watch then thats their perogative but its not something i will ever do. Anyway the atmosphere at all the top sides has diminished over the years, its not just our place. There is always a good atmosphere amongst the away fans so perhaps these people that are not happy should just watch our away games on TV!

And then theres travel as well...and with first Captial connect idea of cheap prices it all adds up

Think the whole 'Back to the Shed' campaign or whatever it was worked out pretty well when it was going and theres not tit at least with a drum who'd probably be strangled come the end of the game..

London is also a rich part of the world.

Lunch and dinner are the most expensive. About 15-20 bucks per meal.

Breakfast is the cheapest, unless you get a T-bone steak with eggs.

My dad paid nearly £700 for him and my sister to go to that game. Including tickets, flights and accommodation for me, which in the end was a waste because I was sick. But still we save to go to these games instead of holidays and tbh its worth it even if Chelsea play bad, I was absolutely gutted to miss that game and people were saying to me afterwards 'Oh I bet ya you were glad ya missed that one' no fuckin chance! I'd still pay that much even if we were at the bottom of the division. And I tell you something, I would not have been shouting abuse at the team, fans need to get behind them.

Yeah i would not complaint neither. Even if i spend 1k on the flight a lone to get there, it would be a great experience.

EPL is much better then anything we got over here. And as I said, i have paid on avg. 50 plus to watch internationals friendlies at the NY Red Bull Arena, and they are not as good as what you get over there.

So for 50 bucks, i think you are getting a good deal!

One of the reasons I became a football supporter was because of the match day experience. Where else can you get such an experience, excluding other sports? Right from the start from watching the FA Cup final at Wembley in 2009, I was impressed with the level of support and passion shown by Chelsea fans not only at Wembley but also from the fans that were in the pub watching the game. Regarding the question of atmosphere at Stamford Bridge, well I think it does really depend on how you choose to participate or not participate during the match. It's up to everyone of us to create that unique experience. I admit I do not have the loudest voice, but I bloody well will give it a go to get behind the team throughout, irrespective of how the team is doing. I totally detest anybody that is quick enough to start booing the players, fuck off back to your armchairs if that's what you call getting behind the team! The other factor is of course where you sit, again it really does depend on what you want to get out of the experience as to where you sit. If you want to sit in a morgue, well sit in the West Stand Lower, but if you want to show your passion then obviously go for the MHL or the Shed Lower. There is a huge issue regarding ticket prices which is preventing many fans from attending which is such a shame. One would hope that the club recognizes who the real fans are and that it's not just about putting bums on seats.
