Juan Mata

Should go to Atheltico. This guy needs to play Champions League football and compete for titles.

They are full of strikers and second strikers. Mario, greizmann, gimenez and cersi were all bought this season. What they need is a good tiago replacement. Mata would be a useless buy for them

Not to mention Mata doesn't even fit their high pressing, aggressive style of play.

I'm just sort of floating this out in the ether ... if he spends 2014-15 bench warming at United and they're willing to sell for ~15m while Oscar endures another season of the terrible form from Jan onwards, how many of you would take him back?

Unless somehow I felt like not winning another league title for 5 years I would take him back. Now if I wanted to see Chelsea winning the league, then no thanks. Been there, done that. He doesn't work for English football in general, much less to the system Mourinho has here. And yeah I'm absolutely stating he compromises our title chances. But he writes nice blog entries... there's that.

If Oscar doesn't work we should move to someone else who does. Mata ain't that player and we need him creatively even less now with Cesc in the team. He offers very little effectively, reason why he'll probably warm United bench too

not really. oscar would fetch us very good money (35-40mil). we dont need mata when we know that he simply wont work in that position and under jose's style of play.

No, he doesn't fit the system and in terms of the creativity he offers we have already signed an upgrade.
