Brilliant Player! Definitely the wrong manager to develop him further I feel , Laudrup or Klopp would have been brilliant for Mata.. Really hope he doesn't leave but would understand if he did

Klopp is quite similar to Mourinho in that he wants his players to be hardworking, athletic players who can press and regain possession and then do the business going forward. I disagree that Klopp would be brilliant for Mata; in my opinion Mata would have more or less the same 'problems' with him that he's having with Mourinho now.

I've just taken a look at Dortmund possession stats for their last two games (Arsenal and Schalke) and they had 42% in both games. They play a very direct counter-attacking game and that does not suit Mata's game at all in my opinion. I don't think he's any more of a Klopp player than he is a Mourinho player.

Currently, Mata had not been playing much under Jose. Should he stay & jeopardize his chances to play for Spain in Brazil ?

He would be stupid to do so.

From Jose point of view, Oscar gotten his chances, proved himself, is playing better than Mata, these are the facts.

Should Jose have told Mata about his expectations earlier ? To deal with Mata as we have seen, is not my option.

When speaking about Klopp's tactics I agree that there his a component of Pressure high up the field but he also had players like Kagawa and Goetze who didn't always have to be running all over the place trying to win back the ball the other 9 guys did most of that work and got the ball to the creative flair player to make something happen.. which is why people and myself feel Klopp would have been a good choice to improve Juan no one is saying we have to change the team for one player we are just stating that he would have possibly been a better fit if we were going to continue to build the team around Juan..

Your wrong with your first sentence. You can check goetze's tackles per match last season to see how many tackles he had even though he had long term injuries. Everybody in dortmund tackles, that high pressure is the most important part of klopps tactics. If someone leaves space for people to run through, then that wont go down well with klopp.

I read somewhere before that reus and goetze had a combined 91 tackles last season. Mata wont work with his tactics unless he puts in some hard work.
