Kez 2,727
He can still easily play with a broken finger. Spike
CHOULO19 24,332
No reason he can't play with a broken finger, I remember Lahm playing at the 2006 World cup with hand in a cast. I just feel bad for him, a broken finger hurts like hell!

francozola 2,040
I think he will still give it another season. If we make no progress, then no one will blame him for leaving.
Term-X 7,891
If he leaves, it signals the direction this football club is going.
Jase 43,479
I can probably understand if he wants to leave us in the current circumstances where we just don't seem to be heading anywhere at the moment but think I'll literally crack if he really leaves! BleedsBlue 1,549
I am really happy that we have Mata in our team. Can you imagine him at Spurs or Arsenal? We would definitely have been 6th or even 7th stage and would be fighting for a Europa League spot.Mata would have excelled at Spurs or Arsenal because both the clubs suit his football style.I know Torres hasn't scored a lot of goals for us but he sure did help us get Mata,so another good assist by Torres eh.I hope Mata stays here for the rest of his career and help us win a lot of trophies. KingEssien 127
Has anyone got the quote from AVB saying Mata will now be deployed in #10 role?
The Big Drog 1,110
Hopefully this is true, His best position is clearly as a number 10, having him out wide only negates his effectiveness. What an incredible signing he has been, a tremendous player, an absolute joy to watch. NiclasCFC and sLOVEnian Blue

Jase 43,479
For purely Chelsea selfish reason, I hope he doesn't play against Venezuela tonight. Can't imagine our starting XI without him right now IF he gets injured! kiaretta985
Badboy 1,526
Mata is on a freaking different level, when we get a pacy winger in the summer this guy will be tearing the league a new one in the number 10 role. He's not as good as David Silva, i'll be honest because Silva is a little bit more intelligent but Mata is not far off and he is 3 years younger muhahahahah and LIVERFOOL GOT STEW DOWNING HAHAHAHAH. kiaretta985 131
I have a bad feeling, or maybe I'm just paranoid. now that Andre has been sacked, what if Juan decides to follow him? he was one of the few who did believe in his "project"... LDN Blue 7,903
Boy.. I can't imagine what's running through this guy's head now. He's the centre piece of our entire squad, without him we're nothing, and he knows it.
Mr. Ziggles 110
I have a bad feeling, or maybe I'm just paranoid. now that Andre has been sacked, what if Juan decides to follow him? he was one of the few who did believe in his "project"... I read this post and god, this is heartbreaking but true. I feel sorry for Juan, David, Gary and everyone who supported Andre. I wouldn't be angry if they walked out to save their careers.
