Popular Post! DDA 9,938 Posted November 30, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted November 30, 2013 I'm not a fan of Mourinho as I don't like watching his teams play but on this case, he is right, Lukaku is talking way too much. What I find funny is that empty words is working way too much in general. In school I hated when classmates were quoting things like Perroquet without understanding, just because it was hype or the politically correct thing to say. It was like listening to brainwashed people. What the fuck are you talking about son ? Popular Post! The only place to be 11,313 Posted December 1, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted December 1, 2013 Well Mourinho said he came here to give stability to the younger players and play good futbol. Which is something we really need to bring some younger players into the teamUp to now I am a bit disappointed since we have not seen much, but I honestly did not expect much the first season. Mourinho will really need to prove he's up to the task second season. He would have one full season and enough time to evaluate what is going on. So let's not get all despair because it does not look good right now. This season was always going to be the hardest. Too much transitional parts going about. But if Mourinho is really the man to lead us for long term, then we should see some progress in this department come next season. I've been saying 'wait until next season' for years now. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I really didn't expect to see our young players regress in the ways they have. How does Ake go from starting games to not even getting a look in? How does Chalobah go from being a key player in a Championship team to a bench player?Lukaku may be a bit petulant, but he earned a chance with his performances last season and I don't think Mourinho gave him one. I want to believe in Mourinho when he talks about 'hatching eggs' but I also want to believe he isn't the guy who gouges people's eyes. In that press conference he threw one of his own players under the bus in one of the most pathetic acts I've ever seen a Chelsea manager commit. I don't know how anyone defends that - it was classless and it makes us look classless. Shakez, Sahrin, Stingray and 3 others
BlueLyon 9,359
So Mourinho started public war of words with Lukaku...fucking brilliant, if Lukaku leaves I will be pissed on Mou as hell. Mata, Luiz, Kdb, Lukaku,..all could leave soon. And to think they were in big plans of our team, just couple months ago.Lukaku has potential to be our top striker ever, should he start PLAYING next year for Chelsea. We have perfect situation to get him in squad as we dont have any top strikers to play ahead of Lukaku, but noooo Mou goes and buys Etoo, wants some proven striker etc...When Arsenal lacked a midfielder, they gave chance to Willshere. They didnt loan him and buy someone else instead. This is how talents become big players for their teams. But sure, Mou goes to buy Etoo instead of giving chance to Lukaku who couldnt do worse than Torres/Etoo/Ba this season despite they played good, Lukaku would play as good too. Just give him a chance FFS.
Hostedenis 556
Mou didn't 'not give a chance to Lukaku', Lukaku asked for a transfer request after the Bayern game. Who knows how many minutes he would've gotten under Mourinho. I'm sure it wouldn't be as many as now at Everton, but you can't say Mourinho did not want Lukaku or wouldn't have given him a chance/minutes. Lukaku himself asked for the transfer and for his development I think it was for the best.Good for him (plays and scores a lot more than he probably would've at Chelsea)Good for Chelsea (strengthens Everton, so gives harder games to our competitors but not to us as he can't play against us - look at the Liverpool derby)

Bosnian Blue 2,471
Pretty pathetic from him to ask for transfer after the Bayern game. Obviously the kid needs a couple of lessons from Jose, something has happened behind the scenes that we don't know.
Tomo 21,751
I seem to remember in 2005 Mourinho similarly had a go at Carvalho in a press conference and i couldn't remember similar outcry. What does Lukaku have that Carvalho didn't? let me guess he is young enough to play in the Olympic's. didierforever
BlueLyon 9,359
I know Lukaku as very humble guy, but he talks too much and that sentence "now I am at everton scored 7 goals in 8 games and everyone talks about me etc"...he is becoming bit arrogant but as long he stays down to earth, thats good thing. dukeman 9
If he was in Mourinho's plans, Lukaku's request was gonna be declined. As it was accepted and he got his loan move, only proves that he was not in Mourinho's plans and he made the right choice. And for Lukaku, he's not consistent enough. Every time you play a bad game in Chelsea, you are sitting on the bench for a consecutive 5 games, that's not what a young player like him needs, not now, and not next season. The only place to be 11,313
He requested a transfer two days after we signed Samuel Eto'o. All this guff about him 'deciding his future' is a smokescreen from Jose. JOSE decides who stays and who goes. Lukaku may have asked but Jose acceded to these 'demands'. Don't they know how bad his link-up play is? Stupid Barca and their stupid youth development officers. Flemishblue
johnnythefirst 1,076
Yeah, wouldn't really see him making it at Barca. Would be funny though.
Las7 951
Yeah, wouldn't really see him making it at Barca. Would be funny though. They currently play Pique up top whenever they are chasing a result in the second half - Lukaku would be an obvious upgrade to Pique when trying something different after plan A fails. Flemishblue 61
If he wouldn't be a Chelsea player at this moment... everyone would be drooling over the prospect of signing him.He is truely a great guy and I wish him all the best, preferably at Chelsea but that seems to become less likely..
